Is this Normal? M818 crashing noise in reverse.

I believe the manual states that one must not back up while in low range. I have never backed up my M818s in low range.

Can I ask a question about an auction that ended earlier this evening

I have observed much of the same on many of the high value auctions. It could be from the inside but it comes just as easily from the outside. I have listened to guys brag about "playing" on the auctions. They have no money or intentions of actually buying something but when they see a bunch of...

Can I ask a question about an auction that ended earlier this evening

Good Morning Gimpy you're up a might early this morning I see. Glad I am making someone laugh today. OK, no doubt there have been various and strange anomalies in the process all along. However, this is the first time I personally have been touched by it since the one M818 I purchased out of...

Can I ask a question about an auction that ended earlier this evening

There is no need to test it. I have already benefited from the so called reserve not met process. I bid $6,150 on an absolutely, all-new Cat C7 Accert engine with all the accessories attached but did not win. I was the high bidder at the Letterkenny auction. The next day I received a call from...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

I worked the deuce everyday this week. Just finished a field of barley and parking it for the weekend. The trailer is an MT-2000 military 20ft. container hauler that has been fitted with a 20ft. aluminum cargo bed. Remove eight bolts and the cargo bed swings off and the trailer returns to a...

    24V to 12V converter

The manufacturer is Pulsetech. The complete unit with solar comes and goes at a large online book retailer The price is usually $179 plus $15 shipping. The circuit boxes sell for about $30 plus shipping on several auction sites. I am not a seller. The rules here do not allow me to be any more...

    24V to 12V converter

You need one of these. This is not an inverter. It is a circuit breaker cabinet with twelve waterproof circuits, 4-12 volt and 8-24volt. They are mounted in the first bay in the battery compartment on the 900 series trucks. In fact, there is a good chance your truck already has one...

Deuce Crash - Subway drive thru.

I do not see a license tag of any sort on the truck.

    Solar Battery Tender for M923

Your solar panel is especially good and it requires less than an hour of daylight to top up your battery due to daily battery discharge from disuse. Six-seven hours of daylight a week is all you need to keep the batteries topped up. Therefore, mounting the solar panel in a safe/secure place is...

    Solar Battery Tender for M923

The military mounts the controller box in the first section of the battery box under the passenger seat closest to the door. The de-sulfator controller is the sealed area just outside the controller box. This works even without the solar panel installed.

    Best Lift Kit for m1009?

Using air lifts on the rear lowers the front relative to the rear...headlights do not align etc. The kits can be ordered with rubber front mounts to raise the front.

    Best Lift Kit for m1009?

My solution was Ride-Rite Air Lifts by Firestone. They are $327 a pair. Air them up as needed. They sit inside the spring on each rear side between the frame and axle. One can use the same up front or simply add the recommended rubber mounts and realign the headlights. Higher and more stable...

    Best 24 volt battery charger?

This is what you need. It is the military's solution to your issue. Charger/maintainer and de-sulfates. Military pays $1300 each for these. The panel looks like the attachment. It has 4-12-volt circuits and 8-24-volt circuits. You may already have this panel installed on your 900 series...

12v plug addition in my m923

SuperSport...if you cannot locate a manual, the important thing to know is that output cables 1 through 8 are 24-volt and output cables 17 through 20 are 12-volt. The large wedge fuses are available most places. Setting the individual amp of each circuit will be readily apparent when you...

12v plug addition in my m923

Supersport, Follow the wiring from the solar panels to where they terminate. If the system has not been cannibalized, you should see a gray waterproof junction box like the one pictured on the far right in the post immediately above yours. Usually the boxes are mounted near the batteries. The...

12v plug addition in my m923

Here is an update for anyone needing step down from 24 to 12 volt accessories. This is only the control box for the larger system I mentioned earlier. It does not have the solar panel but includes all the other features of the system. It hooks up to the 24-volt system and gives one the option...

    Value of GovPlanet inspection reports

I believe that most of us here know that a 923A1 does not come with a turbo and I certainly bid on it knowing the listing had to be incorrect. I only mentioned the incorrect listing trying to be "helpful" to the new company. The moral of this story Mr. Moderator is Yes, there is one way or the...
