When I replaced all the tires on the funvee , I found there were 3 solid runflats a 1 that was a 2 pice , I assumed it was broken ( but didn’t have rough edges) , and since I didn’t mark where the tires where when I replaced them I guessed it was the tire that shook the truck. Since I pulled all...
I see. You’re missing the nut inserts in the A and B pillars to mount the top of the door frame. Pictures are worth a thousand words. I wish I was close to the funvee I would get you the correct size of nutserts.
Windshield thumb things ? On top of the windshield there is a PILLAR FORMER 12340031
The sides over the doors there’s rails with twits or common sense fasteners. On the b pilled the same fasteners are on the rear of the pillar for the top and rear curtain. Don’t forget the center support.

If the Fuel Density Compensator hasn't been bypassed and is working , you should be able to run any amount of the allowed fuels (oil, gas, trans fluid etc.) and not have any issues other than the ones previously noted.
Alignment will not cause tire hopp. Out of balance / worn ball joints will but bad shocks will let the tires hopp and chopp the crap outta tires. If you push down on the corners of the truck ( not as easy as said as done) does it bounce ? Is there any oil on the shocks from the shafts ? You...
Well there’s always this it blasts a lot of air to fill the tire
Or one of these that fills the gap between the tire and the bead and just pushes off when the tire is fully inflated. ( my fave next to starting fluid 😉)
Well the good thing that most parades only run at @2mph. I chased that same gremlin and ended up replacing all the tires and getting rid of the runflats. If I need runflats I’ll just foam fill the wheels on my way outta town. 😉
First thing I had to replace When I got my truck. I just used heavy wheel bearing grease to hold the pin. I would recommend not re connecting the vent line to the system and just put a short hose to drain in case it starts to leak again. the next thing you should do is pull off your wheels and...
I am only guessing but my truck showed 20k miles when I got it , looking at the wear on the frame , ball joints , etc. I’m guessing it’s more like 220k miles , most vehicles are driven 10k miles a year on average And I’m guessing that the young marines that were driving the truck before I got it...
I’ve had multiple duces in ca. ( still do ) and have been stopped multiple times for different reasons. Never been asked about dl class , trying to register anything that’s diesel that’s not def (ca compliant ) is gonna b a no go. Could try for historical plates but that’s gonna be iffy , tried...
Speculation only. Old guy buys hummer and passes out and crashes. It’s Florida ! That and 1000 other reasons he crashes. I doubt he was racing down one of the side streets , no skid marks or other seen factors all the wheels are intact , I would guess medical issue other than mechanical failure.
