    You did not mention any untoward noises... If incorrectly engaged the starter motor usually makes a lot of noise.

    Sure, OK, I will. The OT 65G Fug, was left for awhile as I could do nothing on it, (Or anything else for that matter!), Due to my ( Both ). Rotator Cuff injuries. Misery!. Anyhow, The youngest helper (Tiny gpw11), 'Adopted the Fug..and commenced to, A help get it running. Fixed up some wiring...

    As others have mentioned..(Advised ), Go for another cheap straight truck..Make a good one out of the two. 'Things' not immediately seen?..Not safe. But, good luck with the eventual restore yourself a truck, And, Keep posting on progress.

    We always thought " ANYTHING GOES" in the eastern block. In Poland at the huge off road event there are huge military vehicles tanks apc all sizes on the roads to the event. One holliday I have long wished...wanted..USSR.

    Yes Bridging truck. Today I had the club fill in the U.K. Registration papers to verify the truck for use on the road.. Pictures of the levers below, I will take pictures of the OT65 fug instrument panel switches and operating plates,tomorrow, maybe you can help with the translation.

    Often with these old type tubes they 'Shift' Inside the rim, Which breaks the seal on the valve. RUST!...is the murphy here, as it rots the rim swelling up and wearing on the tube just where it enters the rim. (Eating into the tube at the attatching point).
