Yep, I agree but one thing is when they design the filters, I would assume the main purpose of those filters was for dessert areas & sand etc. It seems like the extra air flow would let these engines get more air and breath better which in turn should make them more reliable. I'm no expert on...
Yea, I totally doubt that 10x better, at the most, just slightly better. To be honest, I'll be curious if it'll actually make the engine last longer and get better MPG, it already get good MPG but its just something interesting to see
I had ran across this video a few months ago and thought it was a good upgrade but is this really a good idea to change out for a less restrictive air filter and modify that piece on the snorkel? I'm planning on going through this soon and making sure everything is sealed up properly and maybe...
Yea, the transmission, and about running, it was a running truck when it was sold. When I got it, the truck didn't run till I undone the fuel lines and went through them, and no, there's no puddle seen underneath it but the shift linkage wasn't screwed in which is something you wouldn't even...
Technically mines was inspected correctly but in a way not, so mines said it had no leaks, yea they was correct about it not leaking because it had no fluid in it. The whole internal wiring harness was destroyed and soon when you pour fluid in, it all leaked right out where the wiring harness...
Im not sure what to exactly look for to see what's different between the M998 and upgraded shocks but I know all the experts says the armored one received upgraded shocks, springs, and some other stuff. I'm sure one of the experts here going to mention it.
Yea, the guys that do the demil does...
Yea, they ain't bad rolling around, my only thing is once they fall, I'm not getting them back up and I can't slide them around in the truck when I get them loaded. It seems like taking the rim out should be enough to make them easier to move around and load, I think these are the HEMTT wheels
I have 8 of these tires and I want to move them from where they are since they're taking up space, but the one problem with them is the weight. These things are next to impossible to lift up with the wheel and runflat inserted, are these tires manageable to lift up so I can roll them if I take...
I'm planning on putting together a small solar battery bank in my humvee, but I'm unsure on what batteries I'm going to use. I have 2 6TL batteries that's been sitting around for months which Im thinking of recharging, but how much capacity does these have over the 12v 1,000 CCA batteries I can...
That's smart thinking, I wish I was like that, I'll try to get everything off of it but that also explains why my space is going low and I need to get rid of some of my junk
