I did same thing when I set up a manometer for my 802: blew all the water out of the tubing. I then set up an air chamber to absorb the air pulses and found that my oil sump vacuum was within specification.
My 802 is located at some property I own several hours away, so I cannot take a picture of the wiring. I've attached a Beede Gauge Testing document that shows the 3 wires on a fuel gauge: Sender, Ground, Ignition. The back of the fuel gauge has the S, G, I molded next to the terminals. I've...

...and remember, those red pinch clamps leaked when I changed out mine.

Looks like TRC is still in business. I could not find the bulb cover on the drawing. Contact info here: https://tecrescorp.com/contact-us
After looking closer at Kurt's suggestion, I think I'd go with a Digi-Key order before calling TRC......
https://armysurpluswarehouse.com/military-issue-fuel-gauge/ might work for you. I used one on my 802. It's not OEM black, but it is a Teleflex gauge and good quality. UPS from Idaho can be expensive, though. I bought a few spares and included them in a larger order to neutralize shipping cost.
There is also a post about using a dremel tool to cut the crimped connections off of the fuel manifold. I used it as a model for when I did my 802 but cannot find it. When you do that work use screw clamps instead of the OEM ones. I had leaks with the new fuel line until I changed out the...
You've got me beat on the beer. It's been awhile since I brewed anything approaching a German beer. This evening I'm sipping an IPA from Sierra Nevada Brewing - the can says brewed in Mills River, NC.
Prost!!
I think more data is better. I just searched for 'M1101 MWO, trailer problems' on the net and these popped up:

Maybe we can both have a beer!!!

I understand space constrained, but......I love my stove. I bought it off craigs list for $50, set it on 2 moving dollies, put a canvas cover over it when not in use and I can adjust the load to what I want. This stove will put my MEP-803A over 100% on the per cent rated power meter. I...
Most of us run our diesel generators a couple hours every quarter....many run them every month. This is generator/engine maintenance. You heat things up to operating temperature and drive out any moisture collected in the system. And you can catch any leaks or problems on a nice sunny day...

Here's what I did: https://www.steelsoldiers.com/threads/smaller-tires-and-wheels-for-a-hmmwv-trailer.204195/#post-2376598
The original thread has a lot of good info showing wheels that others have used.
