    After installing the rear hatch with new seal, it feels like it's catching on top of seal when I open. Is it just because it's a new seal or because I installed it wrong?

    Rear hatch installed. Refinishing armor plate and I will reinstall. Seats and rear installation installed also. Ordered doors from West Kentucky surplus. Hopefully he this week!

    There's a few videos I've seen on YouTube of guys filling in holes on the armored parts for the rockers were at. If it was me I would look into trying to find replacement rocker skins and rivet them on. The smaller holes that are 1/4-in from this bolts are easy to fill with Bondo just make sure...

    Hatch assembly finally painted. Deciding on if I'm going to put back the armored plate. It weighs at least 75 pounds. That was the main issue in removing the hatch. Plus the plate is steel and hatch aluminum and it pitted the hatch. Few more coats on the hardtop assembly too.

    Wow the OEM plug for that cheap. I had the part numbers from the TMs and the cheapest I can find was 600.

    Turret plug installed and used 1" butyl tape that they use for rvs to seal windows and trim.

    Just body filler. You can get at AutoZone or any auto parts. I used duct tape on inside to hold body filler in. Then pull off when done. I didn't want all the bolts that do nothing left in. The spray gun is a purple harbor freight hvlp gun. They work great! Just clean the gun well after...

    Test fitting. Ordered new gaskets from Mac motors and also new standoff washers. Can't wait to drop on the top. Coming soon!

    They used a special band saw for cutting circles. After all the work I'm putting into making this as mint as it can be, I'd rather pay to have the metal cut by pros! I would of just used my plasma cutter with a string and made a circle.
