Yeah, I put a lot of time and money into my truck. I know what it's capable of and treat it with respect. Especially if you want to keep it roadworthy and safe for all driving next to it on the road.
Looks like the lock on the windshield frame sits a bit too low. It might be possible to remove and relocate the lock in a higher locale? Or the tab for the lock (on dashboard) may have to be trimmed?
I take the housings off every time I change the fuel filters. Both primary and secondary. That way everything is cleaned, lubed, and tightened properly. It does take a little extra time but it also helps in looking for other possible problems to take care of before them become a real problem...
There is a small square plug on the steering gear box. 1/4" I think, replace that with a grease (zerk) fitting and pump in the corn head grease til full. Just make sure to empty the remaining gear lube that is in the gearbox first.
