Steele Rubber is sending me samples of these to see if they are what we need for the doors.

I'll let you know if these work when they get here.
I'll keep looking for...
I am still trying to chase down weatherstripping for my M135. I have found this that looks similar to what goes around the inside edge of the doors.

Do any of you have any weatherstrip that you could get dimensions off of? Mine is...
I'd gladly let you help! This has been quite the project for me. It will probably be another month before my friend can get back to finish up the welding. In the mean time I am going to have to learn how to break down these two piece rims and start putting newer tires on before the heat sets in...
We got some welding done yesterday. The wind and the welder were not cooperating so we did not get it all done. We'll try to finish up here soon.
I can't believe how many holes get drilled in these trucks over the years. Everything non-original is getting welded up.
These are what were...
Someone probably took it out and capped off where the gladhands would have hooked to.
Here are pics of what they did to one of mine. These are on the driver side of the frame.
The wiring harness was cut from the trailer connector and rolled up into the frame. All this is in the process of...
This one looks messy but could probably be cleaned up with time. I wish you had pics of the one you saw.
Yes it is.
I had not seen that thread before Plowboy. That truck looks great.
I forgot to mention that the bed of this truck is a dump bed. I also heard the owner priced it at $4000 and...
Only thing I can think that you might need is gasket material to make the lower oil pan gasket. That one will not come with the Felpro main oil pan set. We haven't been able to find a civilian equivalent for that since I think it is military specific.
We also need lots of pictures of the rear...
Just the other day I heard about a G749 for sale that had been repowered with a 350 V8 that still has 6 wheel drive. I was naturally curious and went to look today. The frame on the truck says M211 but the data plate says 1952 M135.
I'll post up some pictures for those of us curious about the...
You read it right. I did not want to redo all 12 of the brand new wheel cylinders to find out they all still leak like they did when I installed them. It is a large amount of work to keep doing over and over, so I decided to redo the fronts with new seals to see if they held up while testing...
The new master cylinder and rebuilt airpak have been installed since Christmas day. No leaks and the truck is stopping great. I'll be doing the same thing to the rear wheel cylinders soon and will hook the back brakes up again.
Made a little more progress on the truck today. Got the cargo bed pulled off so I can start getting the truck ready for paint this spring/summer.
A welder friend of mine is coming over next weekend if all goes as planned to weld up non-original holes in the cab, hardtop and cracks in the hood...
