I think he's talking about the male A1R's pintle when it sees a sexy female LMTV....
At least one build that I've seen had a rear slide out that has always sparked my interest. It'd be a cool way to support a rear patio or something...
It was a valid question.
Where people often run into issue is the number of digits in the "VIN". Many (most) state computer systems req all 17 digits (and in the standardized format). It's technically not allowed that they add arbitrary numbers to fill in the missing numbers (although...
Yeah, but it's pretty tight in there.
I've only seen pics but it was enough for me to say nope.
;)
I don't see the advantage now, anyway. It's not that much additional clearance (an inch?). It just ups the replacement cost. And if you are doing it for higher speed, why not just go with...
We touched on this in another thread but damned if I know where.
For my ssb CB I have 3' fiberglass duals:

For the GMRS I went with a dual band Tram:

For my HAM I have an old UHF/VHF Radio Larsen antenna...
I made some progress prepping the hab for paint two weeks ago. Got all the glue from the light fixtures off finally, filled and sanded any existing screrw holes, etc. Right up to the point tha the disc in my back failed again.
Three months healing.
Two days work.
Rinse/repeat.
Scheduled...
You can always wire them as running lights. When I do my cab interioor I plan to change the running lights (ie: all parking lights front and read, markers, and brake light function) to come on with the ignition. I recall someone doing it years ago with the manual lever switch...
Actually, that's a great price for a clean trailer w/ independent suspension.
Deck is 6x10 so I'd say an ATV hauler at best.
It's too current to have been made for hauling the good old Chenoweth's back in the day. :)
I have two of my security cameras pointed at my truck for that very reason (low lifes renting down the street).
When the security system beeps, I go looking for some range time...
Odd.
Be sure to slide them in as shown in the diagram (hinge up). I somehow got four to fit (honestly don't recall if the tailgate slipped in there as well).
I stowed mine once when I had my first truck. Two per stowage compartment, iirc. Don't remember what you are supposed to do with the tailgate.
The stakes and crossmember poles will stow as well. The vertical assemblies remain upright and stow in the forward most slots at the from of the bed.
Agreed.
I'd love some detail on the 30 minute install. I mean is it "Step 1; Use your 50 ton material handling crane and remove engine" or "remove wheel, turn four bolts, replace wheel"?
I admittedly have never broken down one of these hubs but I sorta get the gist. I'm VERY good at...
There is a newer version with all LED's. The entire 46 and 24 bars are solid LED like an Amazon bar (I don't think the LED version had the pods).
If you search eBay for "ibis tek light set" you'll see some funny stuff. This kit is listed for a grand; a single 46 bar is $6300. A few...
