    LMTV CTIS Question

LOL I did the same in another group the other day. I didn't play the video and just saw five solid. Turned out, they were five flashing (in the video at least). :)

    LMTV CTIS Question

Five flashing I can't speak to. Five solid is dead from my experiences.

    SHC35 and SHC60 Battery

I don't have a reference between the two (these were actually the first diesel heaters I ownedc beyond the Hunter that was installed in my M1079 box. That said, it can move a MUCH higher volume of air and from my experience it can be pretty damned hot air. I've vented it in my...

    CHUCKY'S TREE HOUSE !

Not likely at this point but never say never.

    SHC35 and SHC60 Battery

Nice. I used an old 50 can for one heater and a plastic Harbor Freight ammo box for another.

    Transmission shift panel/vacuum form protector

Why not simply cut a square of uv-resistant vinyl material and stich in some elastic around the edge? Slip it on when truck is not in use. /done

MV Addiction filled. Reis the Beast M1078A0 is born

That's how it's down down in these parts. Same $50 but the plates are only good for 5 yrs. No inspection, no mileage restrictions (from the state; my insurance has an annual limit but no record of my mileage was ever inquired). You have a choice of plates that say "Military Vehicle"...

    LMTV CTIS Question

If you look at the trailer's wheels, the CTIS is not hooked up. They leave the valve system on the tires for interchangeability, but the trailer has no CTIS.

Land Anchors for winching MV campers ??

I 've never seen a 4x4 sand anchor rated over 15000# I'm a boat guy. I don't believe in reinventing the wheel when it ain't broke. Big ass fluke anchor is what I'll carry. If it can secure a 40' yacht in rough seas, it should hold a recovery pull.

    M1010 Convoy Truck

That's usually the point in the project where I start another project. True story. :)
  14. Third From Texas

    LMTV CTIS Question

Trailer has no interaction with the CTIS system. Drag that sucker like you stole it... Your controller didn't fail due to the trailer being hooked up. They fail. It's what they do. Often. If you're worried about the truck tires psi, just leave the controller unplugged. You can...

    LMTV CTIS Question

From my experience, 5-solid is a brick. If that's the case, I highly recommend Plasa's replacement controller base on the Arduino platform. It's less expensive than a used take-off replacement, it's customizable, and it's plug-n-play.

    A1R on FB

I think Texas still has an appeal open on the pistol issue, but I don't give it much hope. But removing the brace satisfies the rule, though. As to bump stocks: https://www.reuters.com/world/us/us-appeals-court-strikes-down-ban-bump-stocks-2023-01-07/

    A1R on FB

True, but A1R's are somewhat more rare (coveted by some). :) Pretty sure this one was from the lot that came from Lockheed Martin (or was it General Dynamics, I forget) that auctioned thru GSA a couple years back. I think that there were six trucks in the lot. They were quite clean and...

Big arse Isuzus, cool. Left hand drive conversions, too. Must be made for the Philippine military or something. China of course has one as well.
