Just got the winch going guess it just takes a while for the oil to get flowing in the pipes, also got the control cable from the hydraulic valve to the lever in the cab connected, but when the valve is in neutral the lever is pushed all the way forward so the only thing I can do is make it wind...
Heres a picture of the assembled valve, got the valve off a Marine corps truck that had the hydraulic system for the winch but had no winch, so the valve just had two plugs screwed in where the outlet lines go, so all I had to do was take out the plugs and screw in the 90 fittings.
Hopefully going to get the winch going to day (Actually wind out some cable) Filled the hydraulic tank yesterday and stated up the pump but some thing was not working right and the winch didn't move, my uncle whose a hydraulics expert is going to help me get it going today.

For anyone trying to install the frame extensions you will have to modify the brackets that hold the hood tunion so that they will accommodate the extra space that the extensions take up. What I found to work the best was to jack up that side of the hood and remove the bracket and put new holes...
