    I was cleaning the engine up a little and found my truck has a army installed rebuilt engine. the cool thing is the engine was rebuilt in Germany. has any one come across something like this. seams off they would ship a engine that far?

    Ok has engine running decent. Transfer case lever pulled up in the up position. I have no tach but the engine was screaming at 35-40 that's was as far as I was going to push it of flat roads. New 9:00-20 tires. Also the truck dogs bad on hills was going 35 hit an hill and had to down shift...

    How can I determine what model truck I have? I have the numbers of the data tag but could not find a decoder for the older 1951 years.

    maybe I am not explaning right. the brakes activate them selfs with out touch the peddle when air is above 60psi

    I just picked up a 1951 reo m35 or m59. the owner put a regulator on the air system to lower the psi going to the air pac down to 60psi. he says any more then 60 and the brakes lock up?? this is a new airpac anyone have any ideas???
