As a seller I have a responsibility to tell the new owner everything that I know or suspect is wrong with the vehicle or part. I don't want anyone thinking I would screw them over money. I would rather have my integrity than a few more dollars.

I agree with Jason, You should attach at the most solid point. The more degrees of separation, the more likely something can fail.
I have never failed a pin, but when I was a young lad in the oilfield I had bolts come out of receivers when the nuts backed off.

It is a windy son of a gun here in the east too. Glad your trip went well. I have not had a problem registering mine. I have an M35a2 now that I need a hypo inspection on so I can tag it.
Man I love those old WWII trucks. I used to always see them sitting out in hedge rows or behind barns. The high price of scrap has really wiped them out.

Wreckerman, this fuel hasn't varnished, still burns but doesn't have the pop it did when new.
Has anyone noticed a new stench to non-ethanol gasoline? The last few fill ups I have noticed the smell has changed.
