Finally getting around to an update. Cabinet doors have been sanded, tack ragged, and received 3 coats of Waterlox on both sides. Been working on a door stop for them to keep them from rattling and currently waiting on some parts. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🥓🥓🥃🥃 #m1010 #cucv

    Cucv Winch mount ideas

I'm currently waiting on one that I purchased in the pre-sale but will be for the CUCV. They just released updated pictures yesterday with the tow hook integrated.

Finally back at some woodworking, making some door panels for the cabinets. I think I’ve finally found a latch for them that I like. It has a detent to hold them in place opened or closed. More holes to drill and Waterlox them. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🥓🥓🥃🥃 #m1010 #cucv

Was looking for a shop in or near Milwaukee to work on M1008; then did it all myself!

Why not access the fuel lines under the truck on the passenger side frame rail and not mess with the tank or the bed....

Thanks! The two screen shots are from the Victron app and the BMS app. I didn't buy a kit, it's all been individually sourced. I built the house LifePo4 battery myself and finally getting all the components together.

Been working on the erector set on the roof! A bit of a challenge getting all the hardware installed on the bottom side of the panels, but all secure now. Still some wires to secure but we’re starting to function. A little testing on two panels (15.6a) and then with the engine running (41.63a)...

Plugging away at some wiring. Circuit breaker and solar charge controller installed. Wires are run up to the rack but need to be secured. Rack hopefully installed for a while. Hopefully some panels soon... didn’t feel like doing them with the sun beating down and 90 degrees. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🥓🥓🥃🥃 #m1010 #cucv

Finally decided to drill some holes! As suspected there is a lot of material to anchor into (1/4”). I matched up one hole to an existing rivet and then drilled the additional hole. Used 5/16 plus-nuts for solid mounting points. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🥓🥓🥃🥃 #m1010 #cucv

Trial and error. Still doing fitting and testing with all the panels. The linear actuator doesn’t have any issues with the push or pull but the sliders seem a little out of alignment. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🥓🥓🥃🥃 #m1010 #cucv https://rumble.com/vkdxp1-solar-slider.html?mref=i0x8x&mc=e46xz

Still working on fittings everything together and what hardware I need. Using the mounts on the bottom of the panels as well as some on top to make sure they don’t go anywhere. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🥓🥓🥃🥃 #m1010 #cucv

Finally getting around to working on the erector set again. Needed a table big enough to set it up on. I did test it on the rooftop with the slider complete and found a couple clearance issues, nothing a couple more pieces of aluminum won’t fix. My solar charge controller and cables came in so...

    M1009 LED Problems

The resistors are commonly available (ebay, superbright led), I did one before the plug on both sides. The bulbs are white and then flash yellow.

    M1009 LED Problems

I ran a resister on the front turn signals when I switched to all led. I tried several different flashers but none seemed to solve the problem. My setup currently works with switch back bulbs in the turn signals, which might be a little fast and furious. But I like the difference in appearance.

    CUCV M1009 temperature gauge

It can be done without doing the injection pump. I was just doing several things at one time.

    CUCV M1009 temperature gauge

I installed the kit while I was doing the injection pump, but overall it’s bolt on. I used a VDO kit, I don’t remember the exact part number. I put the kit on pretty early in my ownership of my truck so I don’t really have any comparison. Currently seems to run between 180 to 190 with my current...
