During the warm sunny days this week I decided to check something else off the list! I scrubbed down the roof real well last week and grabbed a can of Henry 887 silicon. I was able to get two coats out of it. Roof is sealed, reflects heat, and sounds less tinny! ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿฅ“๐Ÿฅ“๐Ÿฅƒ๐Ÿฅƒ #m1010

The loom on the firewall was feed it through. I like the look of it but it isn't always practical. I did use one section that looks the same but is split under the truck but it's for 1 1/2" diameter. Most of the rest I've used is split loom. As for the mounts, the holes for the bolt were 1/4"...

Some more parts coming in! DIY4X motor mounts and Energy Suspension transmission mount. I believe the parts list for that project is becoming complete! ๐Ÿ‘ Come on warmer weather! I started with the drivers side and got it done on the first evening and started on the other side. I found out I...

Sun was out on Sunday so I took a ride. 130 miles round trip out to central PA for some parts from @cucvrus . Picked up some wing windows to rebuild, a 208 shifter with a straight arm, a GM shifter boot, and a set of brand new LED taillight assemblies. Still snow along the sides of roads. New...

Late update: My Marson Thread setter has always done well but on bigger stuff itโ€™s more a challenge. Finally upgrading or adding a more appropriate tool to the collection as I have many rivnuts to set in the future. Yes, you can do them manually, but itโ€™s time to speed up the process. I got some...

    M1009 Little Red Riding Hood.

I'm going to have to look at mine as my cold start seems to be having a mind of it's own. Sometimes it works, sometimes it waits a little while before working, and it seems to idle down to soon. I'll start with the basics, connections, making sure they are clean and tight. I've replaced the...

Glad you got it running again! I've used a vacuum pump to bleed most of the lines in the past pulling fuel all the way to the injection pump. Then crack the injector lines to get fuel to them and it should start easily then.

Did a trial fitting of the roof rack for the solar panels. Still waiting on some gutter mounts to get a final placement but Iโ€™m pretty happy with what I see so far. It sure would be nice if it was warmer and that white stuff wasnโ€™t around! ๐Ÿฅถ ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿฅ“๐Ÿฅ“๐Ÿฅƒ๐Ÿฅƒ #m1010

Roads were mostly dry today so took I took a ride. I donโ€™t think the kids will be running on the dirt anytime soon! Made a stop at the local distillery to restock. #resurgentwhiskey โ›„๏ธ ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿฅ“๐Ÿฅ“๐Ÿฅƒ๐Ÿฅƒ #m1010

Thanks for the complements! Mike is correct that 80/20 is a manufacturer of extruded aluminum. I used them for the first section I built. Since then I have used a company called tnutz.com, it is compatible and they have a lot of the same accessories. Occasionally, something is only in 80/20. I...

Working on another project for the M1010 and getting some creative inspiration... ๐Ÿฅƒ while waiting for the snow to melt! Picked up some Axitec panels from Krannich Solar East. Did a quick check on how Iโ€™m going to hold them in the framework. ๐Ÿ‘ ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿฅ“๐Ÿฅ“๐Ÿฅƒ๐Ÿฅƒ #m1010

    M1028 6.5 supercharged/4L80e project and questions

252Bhp sounds great! (y)Curious to see the dyno sheets for Bhp and torque curves for both pulls. If the peaks are at low rpm with the different pulley I wonder the results if you add some fuel and use a blowoff valve. Then you could get the benefits of spinning up faster but not over boost...
