I collect firearms, and used to write a column about unusual firearms or short stories that mentioned odd firearms in them. The name of the column...
I've done a bit of searching, both here and on the web, but I can't seem to find any answers to these.
1. Does anybody have any idea if the removable steel hard top was part of the original design workup or was it an after-thought add on? If the top came after the first Deuce's were built ...
I'll be watching this on closely.
I'm planning something similar ... but I am VERY hard of hearing and my wife isn't. So I am thinking about including a headphone splitter/amp ... something like this one...
I've not run into this before ... so I went a-searching ...

As it says above, some time ago, I tried 2 small electrics ... they couldn't keep up when it REALLY got hot.
About 6 months ago, I ended up installing this:

Twenty three bucks.
You have to do a little trimming to make it fit.
It weighs about 2...

I wonder how much work it would take to make a new am-fm radio with cd/dvd and card slots look like an old military radio ... all green and black with knobs and etc ...
OK ... The front passage is 11/16". Also, an 11/16" drill fits in the hole as if it were the drill that made the hole.
Yesterday, I did NOT measure the rear hole, I didn't think that you would want that one, but now I see why you would.
That hole is 23/32 inch or about 1/32" larger than the...
