A long shot I am sure, but looking for the heater control unit that controls the heater (and the cable that attaches the control unit to the heater. NSN for the heater is: 4520-01-547-2742 CONTROL BOX ASSEMBLY, PORTABLE HEATER, DUCT TYPE and for the cable: 4520-01-493-2807 SHC IN TENT...

Wow, did you see what 4 MEP802/803 service kits sold for??

I was watching four service kits in a GP auction today, something you used to be able to pick up for a few hundred bucks. The lot today of 4 kits sold for over $3,700 and had 80 bids. Is this what it's going to be like from here on out??

    Leece-Neville Starters

Other than generators, what other military vehicles/machinery would they come in? I vote for Generators

Making your own Shc-35 battery pack? This helps!

If I remember correctly, they are in the TM. It should be in the TM section, but if I get a chance I will look as well.

    A WHAT IF SENARIO

Behind the heater is a pair of connectors on the harness behind the heater for the tach and all of the switches that were used for the winch. You just don't have the branched harness that plugs into it that was included with the winch kit.

    200 A Generator / Regulator Help.

I suggest you move this to the HMMWV section so that it gets seen by all of the folks that have them versus sitting in a section on electrical that doesnt get a lot of looks. Guy? @Guyfang

    MEP802A 12V Generator

I guarantee you that the folks here (really knowledgeable guys) can help steer you to getting the missing parts and getting it running again. Be patient, take and show lots of pictures and read the TM's before you ask questions. This is a great community, they just don't like doing all the work...

Need help identifying my new M-37 auction find

Wondering based on the faded blue paint job if that belonged to the Air Force during its last few years.

MEP 802a. ran without a ground rod. Gen set putting out fine but current isn't making it to out put wires. what is wrong?

Have you checked the internal volts/phase dial matches the external dial? Also, assuming the AC interrupt switch has been switched and you have a green light indicating power is now at the lugs? And seeing your new to SS, have you downloaded the technical manuals (TM's) for the MEP803 in the TM...

    Adding OEM A/C to a M1097R2

I might suggest you have a moderator move this thread over to the HMMWV thread versus this restoration thread. You would have probably had a bunch of replies by now. Just not getting seen by the right people here. @Guyfang

Looking for a HMMWV with a CA tittle

Not a HMMWV guy (LMTV), but I can tell you that you will not find one with a California title that is road legal. They no longer will allow them to be road legal. Green sticker only. Not sure if folks that have had road legal trucks before the ban are still able to keep that status. I do know of...

    M1078A1 "Pandora" Build | 2024-??? | ***Picture Heavy***

Your pump and the hand pump need to be rebuilt. There are several write ups in here on both. 20 + year old seals have gone bad. I know Colt did a video on rebuilding the pump, and I am sure there are also probably videos of rebuilding (or replacing) the hand pump. Have you checked the fluid...

    MEP-803A genset no crank

NSN is the National Stock Number, or basically the US government part number. It is the best way to guarantee the correct part. For example, find out what you get when you google this one: 7310-01-452-8137. In the 24P TM for this genset, you can find the exploded diagrams, identify the part by...
