OK, the heat must be getting to me I think I understand now what you want...
Pin outs for the 4 pin connector from the main AC unit Gen2 (not sure if Gen1 wires are the same colors) Evaporator side colors:
Black goes to fan ground
Yellow goes to high pressure switch ( I think this is what you...
OK I couldn't resist... We are officially calling this Safari Mode... Rolled the panels "in" as suggested. Looks like I have the old style cover... First time I have had all my troop seats deployed as well.

... If you look close enough you can see the reflection on the inside of the cover...
I just saw that truck on GP as well. I did a write up on adding fuel cans to that spot LOL.

I don't have search terms but I know for a fact that Meritor makes disk brake versions of our LMTV axles and I have seen them on an advertising brochure. I would be a swap to disks would improve a number of brake functions.... One of my holy grail mods in the distant future.

there is a port! yea had to switch pipe to NPT and all that crap... The port on the trans is 1/4" but all the senders I can find are 1/8" and I needed a little extension for the probe. I will try to get a pic of the setup.
Here is a pic of the port and its location. I believe I have the right...
I was planning on adapting a trans temp sensor on the test port located just above the driver side filter. I have a pic in my ATF swap post. I have the sensor and the mess of adapters required just haven't gotten around to it yet...
OK, I have been piddling around with not fixing my brake lights that stopped working when I picked up an M1082 from Ft. Leonard Wood for a friend. So, I am determined to troubleshoot and fix the problem and will keep updating this thread with the adventure...
1. Issue - brake lights were...
mkcoen,
I have not installed a primary belt pulley yet that would need longer fan bolts. I have been told that my prototype pulley is on the way to me. When I get to it I will post up bolt info for that.
I could but it would be very crowded :)
No joy on brake lights yet. No power at brake switch when lights set to stoplight and the relay has no power... time to breakout the -20 :(
It would explain you blowing the 15A 12v fuse then the 20A. At 25A and 12v it can handle 300 watts. Using volts times amps a 30A 12v fuse would be the equivalent of a 15A 24v fuse... 360 watts. And why the Gen2 15A 24v breaker didn't trip on the unit.
ok, just wondering on fuses... Yep, on the panel lights only 12v use, I had that in #6 on my list. I tapped that line for my aux switch panel lights.
Well, I am thinking there is a difference in 12v vs 24v fuses.. would be a neat test to try a 15a 24v fuse in there. watts = volts x amps right...
That's interesting... hmmm. Good note on the power usage. That 5 minute run on 20 amp fuse then blowing... Did you touch the wiring and see if it was hot? I am not an electrical engineer but I wonder if the combo of the fuse at one end and the breaker at the unit would cause the first fuse...
I don't want to misquote the relearn procedure. It's in the same -20 as the filter change, 2320-365-20-3. If I remember right it is mentioned in several procedures dealing with changing out the trans shift controller. Master power on wait for trans control light to show current gear, rinse...
