I could be wrong here but the trucks are not EPA exempt... There is an EPA sticker on the engine and "EPA Exempt" is exactly the reason you cannot run a HUMVEE on the street (or at least what GP makes you sign when you get one at auction). It is my understanding that LMTV/FMTVs came with the...
Hope I am not late to the party on the issues described here...
I did the switchover on the park/trailer valves to the single Haldex unit and am interested in your issue with holding down the park valve for it to "stay put." Based on what I think I read, if your truck is venting out of the...
looks like we will need a St. Louis LMTV fest soon! I can host about 10+ trucks at my house out in Wentzville.
I went to Kours truck in St. Charles for my inspection. Not much inspecting on medium duty trucks for the state $12 fee... Looked it over for about 15 minutes and said, yep, she is...
I had all the same thoughts and feelings about recovering my truck from Ft. Carson to St. Louis... Spent over $700 in tools and gear to recover 800 miles but in the end I opted for transport. So glad I did and didn't have to worry about breakdowns. At 6+ dollars per mile for heavy truck towing...
Kambaku, did you just drill into the frame rail to mount the L to the truck or is there a bracket in there? All the stock condenser/fan units I have come with those L brackets.
Also have an alternate condenser like Keith has that fits pretty sweet behind the cab right over the hydro unit and...
I am being secretive on this to not get hopes up too early but I have a prototype crank pulley (A0 3116) machined from a "secret" partner :) Should be getting one in a few weeks. I have my hands on what I believe is the correct crank pulley for the A1 trucks with the 2 belt setup but that's...
Thumbs up on what LMTV772 said on switching to ATF... The cold/warm harsh upshifts went away after the change over.
3-2 downshift lurch at stop is still there but a buddy with a Snap-on scanner (transmission computer) checked my truck out and at idle I am showing 3% throttle so I need to try...
I won an M720 WAY out in Washington state and working to have a buddy pick it up and hold it for me...
A thought on the swaying issue. In the TM for maintenance on setting tow-in it shows putting a wood block under the hitch arm which pushes a lock pin to lock the front wheels in place to...
Nothing exciting to report... Been working on my LMTV and just returned from a camping expedition back in Arizona with my commando Hydro Repair Trailer.
Found a crazy small air conditioner I am going to use on the S250 and working on water system soon.

Nice write-up and fabrication. Assuming an A1 truck with the serpentine belts... Weird coincidence, I just got a hold of a bunch of A1 A/C compressor double belt crank pulleys that would allow this setup to work with the stock compressor brackets over on the driver side. Only works on the A1...
Here in Missouri I had to register my 1078 as a commercial truck. They don't have a MV designation and I want to do more than the parade and show thing.
Congratulations on the LMTV!
There are a number of 24v functions on the truck. The diagram of the diodes, relays, and circuit breakers on the back of the power distribution panel is the best identification for both 12 and 24v.

Do you have the two separate valves for Park/Trailer or the single integrated valve?
Pulled out is "Park Applied" so your venting to the exhaust port when your pushing in "Park Release."
When I switched to the integrated valve setup (the single unit for both valves) I had this issue when I...
