CUCV in the Winner's Circle
Broke new ground today!!! A CUCV has finally Won MV of the Month. Very Interesting read if you're never read this thread from the start. My youngest Briggs is the real winner in all of this, both with us being able to keep the truck and with the truck winning the...
Mr. Kent,
My Son is why Sarge Won it this Month. Mr. Larry pointed out that Sarge Won over some Very Worthy competition and he's absolutely right. What helped push me into the Winner's Circle were three things that I can think of. Its a pretty nice truck with a unique history. I've got a...
Sarge Won!!!
Thanks to All who Voted!!! Moderators, please put the attached picture in place of the one I submitted for the poll for the picture that will show up on the left side of the page. Briggs was really excited when I told him that ¨Sarge¨ had a good shot of being the Military Vehicle...
Sarge May Win!!! In the first picture posted, We worked on that posterboard for a few hours this afternoon. It's looking good and unless the Texas Mafia jumps in during the last 3 hours and causes an upset, We're going to Victory Lane!!! Please see the attached pictures!!! Briggs is already...
First thing that we check on these trucks is the battery's. They are so sensitive and heavily electronic. If you jump one off that has bad battery's, it will do all kinds of crazy stuff. First thing it will do is the ¨No Charge¨ light which means it has disconnected the alternator from...
Just researched that briefly. That appears to be taking place in Texas and onto the South West States starting July 18th. We won't be anywhere near that area. It's just regular ole Summer Camp for my group this year.
I sure hope it works out. Briggs will learn of the results Monday Morning but I'm leaving to do my job in the National Guard for Annual Training. I may have to set up an account on here for his Momma but she won't vote. We do intend to make good on our promises though if he wins.
Another Ahab, I am not into marketing, I'm a Safety Specialist for Uncle Sam as a Civilian. I'm Campaigning Hard this Month as it looks like I have a shot of sending out a lot of pictures of Briggs Celebrating in front of Sarge. The Truck may Win the Poll but Briggs is the one who will be the...
My Little Buddy got introduced to the Green Iron Disease from the start. This is from 2010 in front of my National Guard M984 Wrecker on Veterans Day. I'm behind Briggs and he's wearing the small PT Shirt. Joey is wearing his ACU's!!! A Vote for Sarge is a Vote for Freedom!!!
The Goat is catching up!!! Come on CAMO, GA Mafia, or anybody who thinks CUCV's are cool trucks. Sarge has a shot at it and you'll never find a more unique history on a truck. What I really take pride in though is Briggs Love of this piece of Green Iron History!!!
Here's the Best Memorial Day Photo I can think of involving my Buddy and his Patriotism!!! He is helping replace some American Flags at some Memorial Trees at Ft. Stewart. Here he is working on SSG Booker's Memorial Tree who unfortunately departed during the first ¨Thunder Run¨ on the way to...
I need to add that anyone who votes for me will get a framed photo of Sarge and Briggs showing his excitement if he wins!!! You're not just voting for a truck, you're voting for the joy that this Un-Molested Un-Restored still in Pristine Condition CUCV has brought an Autistic Kid. Instead of...
Sarge has tied it up and I haven't even started my bribe campaign!!! All, Sarge will make it once again to the GA Rally this year if he wins!!! I wish CUCVLOVER would have used his vote on me so I could be ahead at the moment. I would have even purchased him some BBQ at the Rally as I have a...
Guys,
I think I've provided some great pictures and my CUCV is in 2nd place just 2 down to a Gama Goat in the SS Military Vehicle of the Month Vote in the ¨Members Rides¨ section of the forum. We've never gotten a CUCV remotely close to winning and you'll see what I mean if you check ¨Poll...
C/C A is pristine ready to issue gear. E is decent gear but needs limited repairs to be an A. F is unserviceable gear that needs significant repairs. F also gets applied to obsolete gear that is not in scope for repairs regardless of condition. In regards to Drive On / Drive Off, minimal...

Sir, I try but I'm not much a storyteller. I find it's easier to tell life as it happens, then I don't have to remember anything as it's already burned into my thoughts. Sarge is not really up for vote, he won that about 4 years ago when my youngest son took such an interest in the hobby...
I also need to add that this truck is in the running for MV of the Month so I'd appreciate your vote!!! Come on CUCV Crew, we haven't won a poll yet!!!
CUCV Truck with ¨Correct¨ USMC Markings as it came home from Norway Storage. It was repainted and stenciled overseas and never marked with any unit markings as it was a Pre-positioned asset. The dead giveaway I have learned is the absence of the second cut in the ¨M¨ Stencil in USMC. I've...
