Any idea if the grease fitting is an indicator of what hand tie rod I have. Seen some pictures that the fittings are on the same side as each other.

    Tie rod end help

Thanks for the good info. Yeah this thing is way out of alignment. I was going to take it to a semi truck place to get it aligned. I wanted it to be close as I could get it in the mean time. But I will have to correct this first haha

    Tie rod end help

Hahaha Thunderbirds that seems to be my problem. My truck is a Marine unit as well. Not sure what knuckle dragger was working on it. I can get it to move around quit a bit, but it is useless that way. So moral of the story is the radius sleeve thing is most likely cross threaded on one end and...

    Tie rod end help

So I think my tie rod ends are mixed up on my front right of my truck. Went to do a string alignment and started to adjust things. Went and started to move radius sleeve and noticed that the thing doesn’t move the tire. The tie rod ends appear to be moving in sink with each other versus pushing...

    LED blinker module suggestions

So I have done some reading and can’t seem to settle on what led module to get. I have led front marker lights and some civilian style rear lights. The rears have regular incandescent bulbs right now. I also have the led bulb in turning handle. This gets the tears only to blink. Tried a bunch of...

200 Amp Alternator nut keeps falling off?

The nut is still tight. I did notice that the nut/alternator spin freely in one direction. When I try to spin in the other it does not. Not sure if that is how it is supposed to work?

    Filling them holes

So this is what I used to fill my holes in the truck. I used approximately 50 stainless M10x30MM bolts and nuts. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0D7YTQKQL?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_image These are 10 packs with nut bolt washer and lock washer. In addition I used rubber washers to keep the...

200 Amp Alternator nut keeps falling off?

No torque wrench. Just tightening it down as hard as I can.

200 Amp Alternator nut keeps falling off?

I will have to take a look. I could see how that would cause the nut to loosen up.

200 Amp Alternator nut keeps falling off?

That is a good idea! I think there is. I will be looking into this idea.

200 Amp Alternator nut keeps falling off?

Than you for the picture. It is not the Vbelt style pulley. It has the belt style. And the nut is a large flange type.

200 Amp Alternator nut keeps falling off?

Not sure if there is any kind of lock washer or something that I’m missing. I only put on the large flange bolt on.

200 Amp Alternator nut keeps falling off?

200 Amp Alternator nut keeps falling off?

I keep having this reoccurring problem of my alternator pulley nut falling off. Not sure if anyone has the same problem. I put it on tight this time with some lock tight. See if it works
