Montana - has anyone applied for a front license plate exemption?

Sorry I don't have a brush guard, the photo above isn't my truck, just a stock photo. I don't really have a great place to zip tie unless I take off the plate before hitting the trail each time, it's a pain.

Montana - has anyone applied for a front license plate exemption?

Montana is unfortunately a 2-plate state unless you get the exemption, and the truck lives in another 2 plate sTate.

Montana - has anyone applied for a front license plate exemption?

For those running on Montana plates - has anyone applied for the exemption from front license plate? I am thinking of putting the winch on the front of my M1165A1 and it will be difficult to mount a plate if I do. HQ-1704-FRONT-PLATE-WAIVER-2.pdf (dojmt.gov) Appreciate if anyone has done this...

go on eBay and get a blank firing adapter for the gun. Put it on the end and it will make it look safe.

What have you done to your HMMWV today/lately

Took the HMMWV offroad to the top of a 4 wheel drive trail at about 10,200 feet. The trail was rough - big rocks most of the way, the truck needing a lot of suspension. At times I thought the HMMWV would bottom out. But we made it and it was a blast. This photo was at the last turnaround...

    m1152 ecv heater core leaking

When I did the replacement it my HMMWV perfectly and it also checks out as part 19 on Figure 286 of the 24P manual. Can you elaborate more? btw you can also replace the whole front evaporator unit, it's easier but the evaporator unit is expensive and hard to find.

    m1152 ecv heater core leaking

Had the same issue on my 1165. If you mean it's the front core that's leaking there's a replacement on ebay. https://www.ebay.com/itm/273749942389 It will take some work to get that thing in and out and if you disconnect the A/C lines (which you will need to, unless you can find a way to get...

    M1165 vs 1165A1 etc

An M1165A1 with a serial number over 300000 is going to be a Reliability Enhanced Vehicle B aka REV B truck. Below is a chart listing some of the changes. On balance the REV B are significantly desirable upgrades for the vehicle but come at premium in terms of up front cost and some more...
