    M35A3 dual fuel tank setup

This thread got continued elsewhere, Fuel tank selector valve - multiple tanks | SteelSoldiers I changed configuration to a 4 tanks.

    M35A2 expedition mini home

Still wrangling with the stair/door design. Trying to come up with something that can be opened/deployed from both inside and out. I don't know if this was always available, but the fold down/up stairs shown in post #19, while too short, now I've found you can buy the hinge for those stairs...

    M35A2 expedition mini home

*blows the dust off the thread* RV doors, on the side, are usually on the passenger side because most countries drive on the right and this way you don't exit into traffic. Entry into my home will be so far up (5 feet), that it's only feasible with steps, also, there's another entry point from...

    HMMWV M1097R1 specific

How it started: I have the plate that states mine is a 1097R1 but it appears to have had little modified. I still have a 6.2 engine. Officially it's a 2007, but I don't think of it that way. How it's going:

New To M35A2s, Looking For Input From The Pros

If you have the time/space best advice I can give is to take everything apart and put it back together again. Do it now, or do it over the lifetime of your ownership, but you'll end up doing it eventually. I've had my deuce for 8 years and have probably fixed/modified over 50 (this number...

    22.5 Rims on deuce

Nope, no problems. This was an expensive and time consuming project. I don't recommend it unless you absolutely need to move away from military wheels/tires. I moved my heater inside the rails, it seemed too close. Front wheel.

    22.5 Rims on deuce

    Did someone say 24.5?

A3 Disc Brake Conversion - Brackets and Parts

I know OP found his solution, but I didn't see a few other options listed here. I've found a few places that supply these kits and they're usually very expensive, ie: $2k+/axle. However Boyce Equipment is offering kits at the lowest prices I've seen. I don't know about the quality though...

    Current price of M35a2

Wife says the truck's gotta go, but for some reason it's not selling.

    ERV or HRV, including CERV

ERV = Energy Recovery Ventilator, HRV = Heat Recovery Ventilator, CERV = smart ERV that monitors for co2 buildup. ERV's handle moisture. In short the way these work is to move air from inside at the same time air is pulled from outside. The streams don't meet but move through an exchange...

Who Done Went And Did This?

Neighbor said people often drag race on that street. Fortunately, I'm in no danger of that ever happening in my humvee!

Hello, my name is Mike and I have a HMMWV problem

Uh huh. How it started: How it's going: Also did a trasmission swap, adding a/c unit, front (electric) & rear (hydraulic) winch, & couple whip antennas on rear (not pictured). In between, I bought another humvee for parts.

Caution about Iron Planet/Gov Planet HMMWV's

While we're on the subject. Take with a grain of salt, any descriptions listed. My first humvee was listed as a 6.5l, it was actually a 6.2l.

    How to lock up / secure a M35 A3 ?

I would get something industrial and remove whatever is on it to keep it from tarnishing. Then let it tarnish. Being exterior it might tarnish green or brown.

    Spotted last week at Walmart

Friend sent me these. We were wondering about the camo. It looks familiar to me but I can't place it. The tags indicate owner is a veteran.

    Purchasing my first Deuce

Little late to the thread, but you've got it and that's really the most important thing. I flew 3 states away and drove mine, almost 1k miles, home in winter. I already had a set of tools for working around the house, but slowly have picked up bigger wrenches, etc. for the deuce. Not a fan of...

    Paint - CARC

I'd read in a post that some people have had trouble getting CARC paint and thought I'd relay my experiences. Recently I got a McClarin helmet top and contacted their sales department about some missing parts. I also asked them about the camo paint they do and what colours they used. The...

What have you done to your HMMWV today/lately

One antenna on, one to go. Mounting a Shakespear SF-3512 (30-512 MHz) & AS-3900A (30-88 MHz). The radio will be a non-military Yaesu FT-991A mounted on a Harris shock mount tray. I'm just kind of winging it here so don't ask me questions like I know what I'm doing.
