Blue tag is a California assigned vin, usually used on home built and/or kit cars or certain salvaged title vehicles. I have a pickup truck with a ca blue tag. They are also known as special construction vehicles. My registration on that truck lists it as SPCNS.
I don't know a lot about them, but the isuzu diesels seem to be gaining in popularity with the 4bt swaps becoming more expensive and reasonable engines harder to find. The isuzu is supposed to be smoother operating engine and a good engine.
I picked up a winch and hydraulic setup for mine, I plan on setting it up in the back of the truck if I can work it out I really don't like the front bumper sticking four feet forward. I also have an 18000 pound Warn that I want to make a mount for in the front.
Even if it lifts the weight statically, the weight moving around, say by getting bumped becomes dynamic, I would think it a bit sketchy and if it lets go anything under it's getting crushed! At least the way I picture it trying to get the crane high enough to get over the truck which is pretty...
70 miles, I'd have just drove it 😁 drove my m931a1 50 miles home. I would have gone postal on the tow company to start.....

I got a line on a winch kit with the hydraulics complete, I think I'll just upgrade the pump if necessary and step the pressure down for the winch and use full pressure for the crane and dump if I need to. Hopefully the stock setup will run it all with the proper valving.
double check you didn't miss a fastener, then carefully use a putty knife to cut the gasket between the block and pan. Tap the pan with a rubber mallet.
