    Do MTVR's have runflats?

Learned something new today; thanks Wes! Actually that is exactly what I have in mind to fabricate, by turning/cutting away the ring portion of the solid runflat donuts and just leaving a 1" thick rubber band, to act purely as a beadlock. (Done that already with dozens of the smaller HMMWV...

    Do MTVR's have runflats?

All rubber? I didn't know there is such, for the 20" wheels. Pics, anyone? Or do you mean these:

School me in Deuce u joints, flanges, driveshafts and balancing

Not sure what you got there since the link says listing has ended.... so are you talking about a #230897 end yoke?? But then, didn't you say you wanted to upgrade to the 5-115X U-joints, all around? I'm confused because that yoke in the table above is for the 1550 series U-joints (D = 1.375")...

Bought a M929A2 today, I changed the oil before starting & found 2 Quarts of anti-freeze; assume blown Head Gasket?

I have learned that it could well be a failed seal (#3917737) at the bottom of a cylinder sleeve.

    Wow, that sucks....!

    Type of motor in Deuce

I bet he will find two more! ;) (if it still has the stock Multifuel LDT465 in it...) It sure does.

New to M35, getting started, where am I leaking?

No. From what I can see, bolts are all there. Maybe they are just loose?

Yes, that's the only one that fits there - if you want to use Deuce propeller shafts. But if it comes out that those 4-1-2661 are made of unobtainium, I'd just respline and sleeve the flanges from the M35 - which are plentiful and cheap.

Source for 5/8-18 thread wheel stud flange nuts?

Yeah, times have changed obviously. To think that they used Grade 8 bolts, 3/8"-24 to even hold the wiring harness of a M35 in place...!

Source for 5/8-18 thread wheel stud flange nuts?

Ha-ha, that recommendation... that is funny, Wes!:ROFLMAO: I bet there are not many around here that could tell a 5/16" coarse thread from a M8*1.25; or a 3/8"-16 from a M10*1.5; or a 1/2"-13 (UNC)) from a 1/2"-12 (BSW), to name a few examples - just by looking at them. Even less without...

New to M35, getting started, where am I leaking?

That's what I thought when seeing the picture. He is missing the so-called "road draft tube" - which should extend down below the front axle.

Source for 5/8-18 thread wheel stud flange nuts?

No, it was merged with this one because posting the same topic repeatedly, in two different forums, is not allowed as per the rules.

    Gentrailer m116a3

Maybe if it was an open platform trailer - or having removable sides? Because even if you pulled the tires/wheels, the WOA of the axle itself is still 79.3"

    Gentrailer m116a3

That distance is exactly 82.5" (tire-to-tire outer sidewall - where you put those arrows)

... Such a simple question and it is still up, unanswered.........? :) "eGag" has it right: 10 splines on Ø 1-5/8". All 3 shafts of the M44-series -21 & -27 T-cases, as well as all diff pinion shafts share the same splined end - and take the same (P/N 7521276) companion flange. Pictured...
