What did you do to your deuce this week?

Finished my back up lights today. Rigged a switch and an indicator light so i should notice if I'm blinding anyone behind me. I need to start researching pyro gauges. I thought I saw someone with a gauge that had boost and temp in one. That would be a nice option.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Working on rigging up a couple back up lights. Made a bracket and mounted an on/off switch and an indicator light under the dash. Tomorrow i'll mount the lights and run the wires. With the switch, I can turn them on if I just need some lights behind the truck.

    Speedo angle drive-busted

A big shout out to Tracer for sourcing me a replacement angle drive. Memphis Equipment has many in stock, and I have one on the way!:naner: I guess I'll work on installing my backup lights while I wait on the speedo part. I'll be cruising again by the end of the week.:driver:

My luck! And I would have sent you $$$$. Tracer clued me into a few sources to check with. I'll hit the phones in the morning and hopfully find one. Dmetalmiki, on your advice, I put my cordless drill on the cable and gave it a spin. Speedometer still works good.

    Speedo angle drive-busted

So I'm enjoying a nice drive to my buddies house yesterday and my speedometer drops to zero even though I'm cruzing at 50. After some checking i found that the back side of the angle drive must have had a screw on cap. As the pics show, cap is gone and all the gearing poured out. I've...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

I put the deuce to work this morning. Had a big tree drop in a wind storm last week. Cut up the tree and loaded it in the back, then pulled the rest of the stump out. (this part was fun). Now to find someone that wants some fire pit wood.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Looks great! Could you share where you found your LED's and any part numbers? That's a smart upgrade for our lights. Thanks! Private Wrench

What did you do to your deuce this week?

That's an interesting idea Rustystud. It would certainly protect the axle splines. Just not sure if really needed. If the caps are drilled out wide enough, there should be plenty of clearance to not rub or build friction. I need to give that some thought....I like the idea of going an extra...
