My last boss as I was retiring in 2002 was an Air Traffic Controller in Berlin for the airlift. Was still working as a GS13 until just before I punched out. Terry Ogilve was one of the best guys I ever got to spend time with. Wish we would have talked more about this piece of history

Hey Mike, I’m currently having a high pinion axle welded up to replace the rear on a 2007 A1r. My 2010 has it already so I have a good example to follow. Also the bolt pattern is opposite on the intermediate (I haven’t checked the current 2010). You have to weld them in and redrill/tap new holes...

If it was me, and I was changing everything out-I’d go to nylon hose and quick connects as the newest trucks have. So much easier
