Not to mention the already saturated market. You can get a non running slant A2 for the same price point as these and sell the sheet metal for 4k plus. The last running A2 I bought was only $8500, almost a year ago.

Pretty sure the A2's are OK, but I still verify every one I get. Your spindle nuts are probably secured by the newer lock washers but, I would pull each hub cover to check to be sure, or at least try to get and inspection cam in there to verify. I've seen two HMMWV's on the side...
For the GEP 6.5's its all in the casting numbers. The correct casting numbers for a GEP block (located on the other flange (right side)from the XXXX506 casting numbers) are two digit pairs followed by a letter, for example;
03 17 S
which indicates March 17, 2010. GEP began marking this way...
