That's a nice adjustable leg, but a permanent leg would make it harder to slide the table into the trailer or slide other things on top of it when it's laying on the floor. It would also be harder to flip the table and use on the other side.
Not to sidetrack this thread, but I just updated my trailer thread. Thanks for the reminder.

Shakedown cruise completed during the LA Rally this weekend.
Photo of the rigs on the way to the Rally.
The trailer is still higher at the front due to the truck lift, but it is not as bad as before I added the HMMWV tires. When I hitched up for the rally, I discovered that I had robbed...
With a thunderstorm looming, Carnac and friends started loading up for his return to El Paso.
After the storm, Frodo was on the tractor to pull Carnac out of the site. Must have been a Government project with all the supervisors. Even Baby Bear had some input. Carnac was able to hit the...
Saturday Photos. Too busy having fun or running my mouth to take many again, but I did remember the camera occasionally.
Tony found someone who would listen to his Navy yarns (at least as long as he held the tennis ball)
A crappy photo of the Texas contingent cooking eggs, bacon, sausage and...
Friday pics. I got back to Tims place around 1400 hrs on Fri, so didn't take many photos.

Hobbits do have some uses. Frodo fits behind the tire of Tim's wrecker to...
This rally lived up to the perception everyone has of Louisiana with the rain we got. I think it rained at least a little everyday, and on Sat. we had a frog drowner thunderstorm that left standing water everywhere. My feet have been wet for two straight days. At least at this Rally we had...
Goldneagle has started a media thread for the rally here:

I'm home and working on adding photos now.
Had a great time, as usual, and a heart-felt thanks to Tim and Miss Pam for hosting the rally and opening...
Well, I was loading the second pallet of GoldenEagles ammo cans on my trailer a little while ago, and blew out a hydraulic hose on my wrecker. Not much I could do other than quickly shut down the truck and stand there watching 100 gallons of hydraulic fluid drain into my pasture. Guess what...
My M105 had 4 water can holders, and the M1101 has one water can holder on the tongue. My M101 doesn't have a water can bracket, but I'm about to add two water can holders on the rear of my M1031 CUCV. So far, in warm/hot weather, a 5 gallon water can is good for 2-3 days for washing and...
Since I lost so much space moving down from the M105 and M1101 trailers to the M101, I was looking to see how to store all my supplies and equipment. Still using scraps of wood from that sheet of plywood, I figured I could put up a shelf between the front two bows in the trailer.
I had one...
I had most of a sheet of CDX sheething plywood, so decided to make a kitchen work table to go on the trailer today. This is some rough wood butchering with a skill saw, but I wanted something quick for evaluation for the maiden voyage to the LA Rally in 3 days. Worked out really well. I had...
Actually, I'm not doing much building, just some subtle modifications to a M101A2 trailer to make it a little more useful for camping. I have used a M105 trailer to camp at the LA rally for several years, and it's great pulled behind a Deuce/5-ton, but I don't want to drive a Deuce or 5-ton 8...
I've decided to sell my M105 steel box camper trailer that I used the last few years at the rally. I plan on using a CUCV to travel and camp, so I'm moving to a M101A2 trailer for my camper.
The Good:
The inside height is about 73 inches so most people can stand upright in the center, and it...
We've had problems using a PCB box from the 250 Cummins on the 8.3 Cummins. An 8.3 Cummins PCB may work on the 250 Cummins engine. There are different numbers printed on the boxes, but I don't have them at hand.
