Installed a new fuel lift pump. About 2 hours worth of work but she runs great now. Luckily the old one decided to die sitting in my drive. I cut the old one apart expecting to find a busted diaphragm. Problem was the small plastic washer the arm fork rides against busted. Instant death to the pump.
I added electric fans but not a replacement. They help on the cooler, warm days by keeping the mechanical one off. I don't think you will find an electric fan that will replace the factory one with enough airflow.
It looks to me from the photos that the intake hose from the air cleaner to the engine intake is off. That means that rainwater couldn't have made it to the engine.
I had my other vehicles with them but it had no effect on the commercial policy. It was inline with Gulfway with no restrictions at all. I'm able to drive anytime as much as I want not just to "events".
