    blinker issue worsens

Good luck in sorting out your blinker problem based on the suggestions above. I recommend bobbing your deuce. This will create a shorter path for the grounds to work with, hence solving your problem.

HanksDeuce: 8" Lift, Bobbed, External Cage, A/C and more Project!

Ordered 90% of my air conditioning system today. Vintage Auto Air Conditioning had the best deals of any Vintage Air dealer on the internet. Gary was very knowledgeable and helped me choose the right components for putting a/c, heat, and defrost in my bobbed deuce. I ran out of time to order...

I'm still looking through the pictures, but I can't get any of the videos to show on your video link you posted above.

HanksDeuce: 8" Lift, Bobbed, External Cage, A/C and more Project!

Rebuild kits were around $250. I bought the NOS fan clutch for $80 shipped.

HanksDeuce: 8" Lift, Bobbed, External Cage, A/C and more Project!

Well I've been hitting a few local car shows here and there. Attached are a few shots of my handy work after cleaning the tire sidewalls with Bleche-Wite and then Armor All Extreme gel. It took an hour for 4 tires (no I didn't do the spare). My spare tire is now flat so I reached out to Erik's...

HanksDeuce: 8" Lift, Bobbed, External Cage, A/C and more Project!

So just after passing 47,000 miles on the Cummins 6BT the factory Horton 12 volt electric fan clutch rear bearing decided to start coming apart. A pre-trip inspection caught the little bugger. I was standing on top of the valve covers and when I grabbed the fan and gave it a spin I noticed the...

    White buildup on turbo.

I have heard that coolant can turn white when heated. Do you have a coolant leak above the turbo? Is your coolant level dropping any?

    Don't lose your nuts !

I'd find another bolt supply. Tractor Supply sells by the pound, but this particular metric size may have been in a baggy pack of 4 maybe. Not sure what other supply houses are near you, but I'd sure look around for more. Ouch!

HanksDeuce: 8" Lift, Bobbed, External Cage, A/C and more Project!

Today I finally fixed my air system pressure issue. After several calls to Cummins, Haldex, and a few others followed by disconnecting this and re-testing that I decided to throw some money at the problem. I drove down to the local Truck Pro and bought a replacement governor for my Holset...

    ABS Parts Supplier Info.

I was given this information as well when I talked to Haldex today regarding the air compressor setup on my truck. Just a bump for other members that may need 5 ton ABS parts.

    Custom ground cam.

A lot of locals use this shop in Louisiana. http://www.cammotion.com/index.php Course none of them have diesel engines.

I'll be there with my bobber. Thanks for the invite via text message, Tim. I don't normally check this particular forum.

Installed a pyro, got a surprise!

I drilled my multifuel exhaust manifold when I swapped from the D to C "whistler" turbo. Shavings fell to the ground instead of going into the turbo. Some people do it while the engine is running, others put grease on the tap, but it's just peace of mind for me to remove the manifold or drop...

HanksDeuce: 8" Lift, Bobbed, External Cage, A/C and more Project!

Took the deuce to Twin Peaks in Baton Rouge for a supposed Jeep & Truck show from 11am-3pm. I got there at 10:30am to get a good spot. One jeep showed up at noon so I decided the show was a bust and left. Oh well, their loss! Attached are a few pictures with the ladies. I offered to help...

Installed a pyro, got a surprise!

I'd like to see you install a boost gauge and verify how much pressure the turbo is making to go along with the new pyrometer.

    New Intake

Can you tell us what model number pre-filter you purchased? Based on the link below it looks like the one for my Cummins 12-valve is H002394. This is because the factory Cummins head flows 150-160cfm. https://www.donaldson.com/en/engine/support/datalibrary/000207.pdf

    New Intake

If I could provide a minor correction to your post above. It looks as though the topspin takes air in from the bottom perimeter, and as the impeller blades in the top of the housing spin the dust/dirt particles are accelerated and shot out of the 2 slots in the sides of the housing. How much...

Introduction and need a hand please!

Oh lord, another engineer around here. They let anybody in here nowadays! Good luck on getting your transfer case swapped out. File the lesson learned away and try not to repeat it in the future. At least that's what I do. I also try to learn from other people's mistakes so I don't make my own...
