Deck of the m269 is 25 feet .The three light plugs are for 6 yolt 12 volt and 24 volt .

on my m211 I keep the coolant just where I can see it in the fill cap . because the presser relief is just a little higher then that . and any coolant at that level will just get blown out . so keep the coolant below the presser relief and you should be fine .

you may be just fine my 302 may only make over 100 horse power

I use low range around my house to go slow and when I don't want to turn the engine faster then I really need to . on rough dirt roads I only use the low side . but on level ground and road ways only a few times when pulling a trailer on hills .

I rebuilt two trailers 6 torque rods each and paid $30 to $40 for each torque rod to have the ends changed . OUCH

1967 m52a2 and 1953 m211 turned in to a tractor

When I added a rear winch I used a air cylinder and it has worked out real good .

Is the transfer case from a CCKW or m211 ?

The inside the frame peace is from a 1985 m816 wrecker and the other picture is of the m52a2

I would reconnect it at least to keep it venting and keep dirt and water out . when working on my trucks I keep the floor clean and a rag over the master cylinder to keep something from falling in .

The line on top of the master cylinder is the vent

I had one battery go bad and was only getting 12 volts in stead of 24 volts check each battery separately

This is a picture of a exhaust pipe that I had made at a muffler shop years ago for my m211 when I could not find a muffler .

This GMC I bought a few years a go in case I had to use the bell housing and transfer case in a m211 .I did not use any parts and don't need it now . I thought I would post the pictures of the bob job .

If I where to build a trailer to put behind a 2 1/2 ton or a 5 ton I would buy a civilian axle or axles and suspension with air brakes . The two trailers I have m269 with air brakes with out maxi brake and m131a5c with air over hydraulic . these are fine when maintained for a slow moving...

I have thought of removing one rear axle from my m52a2 . and keeping the frame the some length . with my wrecker winch on the back I can only pull trailers with narrow fronts . the main reason is I would lose one axle worth of brakes .

The REB shifter you don't have a high reverse only a low . on the high side you have 4 speeds and on the lowside you have 4 speeds when you shift between gears keep your foot on the gas peddle . first gear on the REB is all the way forward .
