M35A2 spin-on oil filter conversion kit, who sells it?

I still can't believe how expensive these still are... for a chunk of milled aluminium. I don't doubt the quality of them though.

    Gulfway Ins. Limitation WOES!!!

Update: I am now insured with Hagerty at $155/yr and called to tell them there is no enclosure. It was really easy. This may vary from state to state I guess. Limits are 2,500 mi/year. No problem there, since I think I have less than 2,000 miles in 5 years.

    Gulfway Ins. Limitation WOES!!!

I also have to switch from Gulfway. What a shame, it was so easy and pretty cheap. Who garages their 2.5 and 5 tons? Aside from here who have farms/barns? That's crazy. I will check prices and report back.

Get the correct wrenches for the compressor pulley. Real easy, it splits in half...you'll see. I paid $20 on ebay for mine 2 months ago. Be careful to loosen all the bolts for the generator when removing those belts. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    Front Dust Boots

My old zipper boots, which were probably installed in 1989 when the truck was updated, are shot. Been cracked since i got the truck in 2013. Never submerged axles in water or driven in snow to avoid potential rust. I read the StepXstep front end service thread. At this point should i expect to...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Replaced the belts. Generator belts were toasted. Not a job working on the deuce without a bloody knuckle... Very easy with the air compressor wrenches. Not sure how tight to make the belts. My laptop is down so cant see TMs

Oil pressure high after oil and filter change

Mine did the same when I changed from the old pleated paper .gov style to the Metal covered Wix from NAPA. I was thinking its high because there are not many perforations in that outer steel part, restricting oil flow??? It still does reads high to this day, when its warmed up it does lower some.
