Great, I will check it out. Do you sand every inch or just make sure it's clean and no loose paint? Im just trying to pick up tips for starting to convert my Deuce CARC painted 383 (in 1989) to it's original 24087 from 1968. I'm not looking for a showroom finish, just durable and to remove...
This summer:
Cut down a junky old half dead cherry tree, took 2 loads of brush to the dump.
Picked up 4 pallets north of Westminster, MD to enlarge my firewood stack for this winter season. Took some scenic photos.
I also used Those Military guys just for the driver's side. Mine did not fit properly. The screw mount holes did not line up and had to be drilled out slightly.
Picked up a new headlight bulb for $12 at NAPA, #4800 and a pig tail (#LS6235) for $5 to splice into the Mil-spec connectors. The prices on egay for OEM bulbs are outrageous.
Borrowed the idea here: http://www.steelsoldiers.com/showthread.php?16935-Headlight-adapters
The Brown truck delivered my supplies for the DIY Primary Fuel spin-on filter mod as well as a new Donaldson air filter and some Baldwin secondary/Final filters.
