My bobber looks a lot like yours with the exception it's O.D. Green and runs Firestone tires. It's my Avatar. Did you use front springs and hangers to support the rear?
My bobber likes to grind 4th a bit. I usually double clutch when upshifting from third to fourth only and I double clutch all downshifts. It makes my transmission shift really smooth. Just throwing it out there.
Well my fellow soldiers...I drove Brutus to work in a snow/ice storm that had cars going off roading and 4wd pickups sliding all over the place. Brutus and I just soldiered on in 4th gear between 20 and 30 mph. We climbed all of the hills without spinning a tire. Gotta love those F-stone T-831s...
Well...I got a ticket for an expired vehicle registration. Yup. I was driving Brutus to work at 03:30 in a snow storm. I was cruising the plowed right lane when I noticed a few cars backed up behind me. So, I signaled left and headed Brutus into the unplowed left lane in six inches of snow to...
Pugsley,
I drive both. I just got back from running errands in my bobber. My Mustang is covered when it's not being driven, which is anytime it rains or snows. It has never been driven in rain or snow. Not once. The apartment guy is just a p***k. Thanks for asking.

Thanks gents. The manager's notice said that you can't "store" vehicles in the lot. Store? I drive my bobber two or three times a week. He also considers it to be a "non-passenger" vehicle. Gee, I wonder what the seats are for then? It's nothing more than a very large pickup truck. I've not had...
I drove my Deuce to work last night in snow. He drove pretty well, although windshield squirters would have been nice to have. My truck is now totally white from the salt. Darn! I was just informed by my apartment management company, that after two years, they don't want me parking my bobber in...
I did adjust the R.H. stop a bit previously. Maybe I'll just turn it out a bit more. Or I may look for some m135 rims. Are they hard to come by? Thanks Tom!
It's not mis-adjusted Sinker, it's just the fact that the hydraulic steering box and it's arm mount outside the frame. So the outer surface of the steering arm sticks out about five inches or so from the frame. The steering arm has a bend in it and would probably clear 20" NDTs, but my 11R-20s...
I have Progressive Commercial insurance on mine. It's not for hire, doesn't have to be garaged, and I can drive it as much as I want. $800 per year in New Jersey.
I have the Waterloo kit on my bobber. It works like a champ, but it does cut down on how far I can turn the wheels to the right. The outside edge of my driver's side tire rubs the steering arm on hard right turns. I do run 11R-20s though. Might not interfere with the stock NDTs.
