Bought a 7 ton a month ago and of course still waiting for any movement on my EUC. Anyone headed over there that could check the truck out? I'll be looking for shipping or any assistance available to get it to Ohio. Just trying to prepare a little bit before they throw 10 days to remove it. Thanks
Search Vanner converter. It is SP00158-GEL. Good for 50 amps. Seams to work pretty good. I believe that it cuts on when the 12 volt side reaches about 14 volts. I'll see the volt gauge pulse while it cycles on and off.
Converters for the blazers were behind the panel on the right rear I think. The pickups had them behind the seat. Mine was missing and I picked one up on the _bay that was a takeout from newer jeeps that were being used over seas.
I've had some luck getting the hydraulic switches working again by cleaning them out with brake cleaner and compressed air. Napa sells a universal switch that works good but uses screw terminals.
I'll agree with VPed. I've towed deuces and 5 tons and some of them need tied and some dont. Deuces are worse. First few turns will tell the story. If you turn left and the towed truck turns right, the the wheel straight and let the tires scrub through the turns.
