Very Nice!! I worked "Post line Production" on those beasts in the winter of '09-'10... those are some cool rigs, and I was surprised they are surplussing them out already even to agencies.
I just bought my first Duce from FuzzyToaster! 1988 M35A2C with a M332 Ammo trailer. Long run home from Dallas to Houston, but we made it!
I had to leave the M332 behind, the light plug was not going into the Duce's socket, and I wasn't going to run dark (or risk running dark since the plug...
Count me out for Jan... if I'm not in the delivery room, I'll be up in the Mountains anyway for 4x4 SAR training...
But... Feb at my place again if y'all are up for it!
Dan, when's a good time to roll on over? Weekends? Days? I'm usually kicking from 0100-0400 and 1100-1400 workdays...
Wolfen, sorry to hear, I know how tough it is out there... I lost my '53 M101-A1 when I was unemployed...
Oh iths a pwetty horn... I had a manlier horn on my Hyundai.
Dan, I'm lookin forward to dropping by for a visit, but I work nights... So sometime after CHRISTmas?
So I went to that junkyard to look into that gutted CUCV with a personnel carrier rear. The lovely gentleman behind the counter wanted "a couple grand" for it because the body has "got to be worth alot". never mind the body is in poor condition, and wold need work just to get the rear doors...
The wife is 100% the idea of a monthly rally here... Bring your wives and girlfriends (but not both at once please!) And your kids and we will make it a family outing! (Before I get a duce, I should get a playground for the kiddies...)
I'd say Jan, but I have a little one due around then so I cant host... I'd love to make this a monthly deal, but I can't commit to Jan... I'd hate to kick y'all out to run to the delivery room!!
Here's the pics I shot...
For you folks convoying from the park and ride, when you get down on 7 shortly after it narrows down to 2 lanes, there is a welding shop on the left with a horrific Humvee on dually axles and jacked 6' in the air. A 5 ton with a gun mount alternates with a dice in the driveway... Take a look!
By all means stop by mud!!!
Yea, you found me on the satellite... that clearing is where we will park...
If there are any issues: area code: nine 2 oh, 224. five three duce oh...
