I have brand new EZ TCU here with me
I’ll look into the manual today,
but I don’t see why the TCU needs additional speed input,
When transmission is already telling the TCU it’s speed
those TCUs are designed to be stand alone for many older cars or trucks that retrofit 4l80e
And most of...
My TCU Needed
input from TPS sensor
Input from RPM sensor
power 12v from direct source
tire size information
Final gear ratio information
no speed sensor information was needed
and yes on my m1123 I am using manual shifter
Just like the one you bought,
It was 60 dollar range, works great.
if you don’t mind shifting like a manual transmission up and down
I don’t have any issues with EZ TCU
I have been using since 2015
Shifts on point and low range works great,
I am getting my RPM signal from magnet sensor on the balancer,
Grease point is also on MOOG products and some AM GENERAL idler arms.
That’s not an indication of Chinese made or USA made.
This picture is from MOOG idler arm it has grease point.
No curbing, and even if that happens the stress should not go on idler arm
It should be absorbing by tire rod and the enter link.
Truck went through 100% frame powder coat restoration only 5000 miles ago and that’s when new idler was put on.
It didn’t bent that’s the shape of the part,
part has been on the truck for a year, I can’t imagine corrosion eating through that thick metal.
Loud noise and lost control of the stirring, meaning it was not stable at all, you could turn the wheel but wheels would not go the direction you...
Street driven truck, look at the first picture, suspension is still clean
No trail drives.
The location it broke tells a lot about metal quality they have used to produce this part.
Guys i wanted to review this part,
I drive my trucks on average about 50 to 75.000 miles a year, I am very aware of using only AM GENERAL or AM GENERAL approved suspension parts on my trucks.
last time I did my suspension parts, i said what a heck let me use those eBay aftermarket parts and see...
Guys I thought I would post this here for those who want a tachometer but don’t have it.
This item I am using for a few years now. Excellent performance, only 18 bucks on Amazon
Works with 12 or 24v,
takes few min to install ( you need to make a bracket )
digital tachometer.
EDIT: See below...
I have thought about it but very quickly decided that humvee style is much better,
humvee style hydraulic fan is 100% lock up setup just like large trucks.
The civilian style is not 100% lock up.
i also need to change the pulleys and a lot of things to make civilian style work, because humvee...
