Thinking about getting a M275 have some questions. Now with pictures.
Hi guys I have a few questions on the M275 I found one in the desert and the guy is asking 2.5k for it and it has a gasser engine in it. Now my questions I seen pictures on some with spare tire on the back.. this truck...
The whistling noise is most likely a blown CTIS seal inside the hub letting air out you need to fix it before you diagnosis the system,.. happened to my 5 ton on the rear last week I'm fixing it now.
So no answer to this question? It's been a week thought someone would know. The Tm says to replace if you see ware / or damage but what are the signs? well anyhow I'm putting the axle back together in the next few days.
My M923A2 right axle was leaking ctis air out of it innter seal so I took it apart,... I'm replacing all the seals inside the hub just to be sure and my bearings look great but my question in the plastic axle bushing sleeve how do you know it needs replacing? does it wiggle inside the axle...
Most of the time if you hear air leaking into the air intake.. check the break pedal had this happen to a 931A2 something failed inside the pedal causing it to always lose air, And it vents into the air intake.
Got this in a box of parts from someone, it looks ok but all the new filters have metal outside... This has a paper outside with a metal inside. can this still be used?
Just FYI put something under your rifle if you put it on the dash they dye the dash pad but it's mostly just some nice spray paint and can get scratched very EZ.
Red one is SEAT Belts must be worn at all times by driver and passenger...
yellow is just a good driver check list.
Gm called the color bronze but it's more like a mahogany color.. that color was a GM military color only.. not issued to civilian vehicles. that's why you see gray dash pads...
I used USA 1 industries dash pad.. dyed to match the GM military color.. steel core with foam center then vinyl over it just like the GM oem stuff.

here is mine installed in my M1028A1
Just a note I spoke to a guy that drove M923A2 in the army about the bouncy tires and he says that's norm if you run empty. Mine has a slight bump on them.. I put 4 14R20 tires in the back and hauled my M105A3 trailer around and the bounce stopped I don't know if this will help everybody...
Check the hard rubber fuel lines from tank to filter. Mine showed no leaks what so ever but kept loosing prime. replaced em now air leak is gone. Starts right up 3 cranks.. Any hose shop can make you new ones for about 100 bucks or less.
I have a A4 that has a pull start and it starts like a dream in 4 or 5 pulls. But the A5's never came with a pull start only elect start. Now that being said someone could of added that on later.
