I just wanna make sure ive got everything else ready and in order for when they come in to bolt together and go ive got black oxide flagged all metal lock nuts that are closed and 2” long to cover the whole stud too that are gonna look amazing
After talking to Joey at Interco after you recommended them I’m gonna wait till the cobalt ground hawgs come out in a 39/14.5/16.5 comes out later this year since I think it’ll fit great with the lift I did to stuff that Cummins in it and look mean as heck and perform well in the mud
Do you know where I can get in runflats cut down to just be beadlocks, or if that’s something I can do my self they’re going on Interco tires when they come back in stock
Oh shit, that’s awesome. I might find a reasonably priced set with about 50% tread for now and buy a set of those 40s, I wonder if they offer them in a 13.5R16.5 I think those would look awesome and I bet they would fit with the lift i had to do to stuff the Cummins in there thanks again for the...
Those are 17’s for the mod mafia wheels I was originally looking at those wheels but they’re like 2,500 each wheel so I said hell no lol I’ll look and see if they have 16.5’s tho
Yeah I don’t really like the idea either since not only is it money but it’s time Ive done all the work my self on the truck, I wanted to buy brand new tires but I couldn’t find anyone who makes a 37/12.5R16.5 but thanks for the link I never liked the idea of running way old tires I just didn’t...
And since I didn’t represent what I was saying properly, I will definitely be running beadlock’s, that was never a question just whether I want the rubber run flat beadlock or just a PVC insert
Well, this is kind of where my split is on the second half, it was a 4 door open top but I got the H1 alpha style wagon back conversion for overlanding from Plan B trucks, with a 3 inch body lift, to clear my 700 WHP Cummins, it’s kind of a roll of the dice on how old the tires I get are, I...
thank you for all of the info, So here’s another question then since I run the truck on the highway would it be worth running run flats so the truck doesn’t drop as much if I have a blowout with those old military tires? Or would you not bother and just get the inserts, if you think it’s worth...
OK, that’s exactly what I thought. I wasn’t sure if you were supposed to stack them or some thing but guess I’m not gonna bother thinking about it anymore lol do you know any alternatives, it looks like wig splitter is closed or some thing since whenever I click on their site, it says unavailable
I’ve got a set of the 24 paired bolt humvee wheels with the big CTIS run flat inserts. Is there a lighter alternative? I can use to just have a beadlock ring since I have no need for the runflat. I saw these online, but 3 inches wide just seems way too small no? https://www.ebay.com/itm/174542948997
