    Maybe fluid too hot and maybe fluid has air entrainment. Too hot can be diagnosed with thermal gun, entrainment will be white foamy fluid.

    Takes about 4 hours to pull the engine out and minimum of 8 to put a dressed engine back in. Your swimming pool engine might be rebuildable, knock the pistons out and see how bad the cyl wall pitting is. Might clean up at 020.

    If you have a “A0”, the only ECU present is the transmission controller. 1997 and earlier it is co-located with the keypad. 1998 and on, it is located under the PDP.

    If you provide the serial (vin) number from the frame, some provenance may be established using the vin thread.

    Recall that the 100 amp system is a three phase alternating current alternator that feeds a rectifier that converts the AC to DC. Polarizing generators is a DC generator thing which is not applicable to alternators.

    Evaporator has a drain pan to catch condensate. If you reorient the unit, water will go everywhere.

    Hmm, do you have a selenium rectifier (in the grille) or one with discrete diodes? The selenium looks like a stack of sheet metal plates. They tend to fail due to age. Suggest you replace it with one of the newer types with diodes.
