The military made a under body repair kit to repair all of those areas, they seem to be harder to find now. I drove an A1 for quite some time unmodified and never had any problems, speed and inexperience are what cause accidents.
If you need rear end covers he has them too for $20, never seen them any cheaper. The rear covers are quite scarce, perhaps someday a stash will be found. Would love to see pictures of your rig.
The Goodyear seems to be made of a stiffer rubber compound and doesn't flatten out like the denman's. I'm going to use some 12" 2x6's to open them up over the winter.

I have had the same issues, one key thing is to shake, shake, shake until you can shake no more, I have cursed many of those cans. I did find recently that the paint sold by Ron Fitspatrick/G503.com is a much better spray can and the paint is great, it has a spray nozzle like the Rustoleum cans...
