Used the M816 yesterday to lift cover off deuce engine can.
Did a couple up and downs with the hoist and no problems.
When I went to lower cover back on the can hoist would not go down.
Tried up and it still works. The cable drum does not turn and sounds
like hydraulic pump bogs down. Boom...
I’m with M16ty. The EUC wait time is a gamble.
I got caught up in EUC timing with two trucks at
the same location. Won two trucks within a week
of each other. The EUC on the second truck cleared
in a week. The EUC on the first truck took 5 months
to clear. And not a first time buyer.
I was there Friday and Saturday. Good to see all the SS members there
except for SixSpeed. Didn’t see Jack there? This was my pick but way
to nice to drive on the trails at Richloam.
In a recent addition to the motor pool (CUCV) I found this fuel pumped out of the bleeder valve. It is red in color. Is this diesel fuel? Is it safe for a CUCV?

Are they defective or just not tested?
I started to build a glow plug card test
fixture but lost the cards I needed to test.
If I had some cards to test, that might motivate
me to complete the test fixture.
I had the same death wobble on my CUCV.
Changed out the steering stabilizer and has not
done it since. After examining the suspect stabilizer
I found it had a slight bend in the rod. The way GL
likes to move these trucks around with fork lifts

Hey Kenny, tvman007 picked up his M35 and trailer this morring and left your towing lights. I will bring them next trip to Loxahatchee. As for the 55 gallon drums of JP-8 it may be easyer for me to go by sixspeeds place on the next trip to Loxahatchee and get them. What is JP-8?
