My M998 is locking the axles in H as it does in HL--N and L are ok--I do not have a transfercase light on this humvee--could this be an external adjustment or is something broken--on a hard surface the axles bind during a turn in both H and HL--Thanks George

I replaced the front left 1/2 shaft--that did it---that was where the noise came from--the shaft looked good on exam but was bad--they are cheap--$125 on ebay
At low speed coast I could feel a rumble in the left rear--when feathering the brakes I could feel it vibrate on rotation as if it had flat ball bearings or bearings coming apart--thats when I called AAA--another humvee I continued driving under same condition and the shaft stopped turning...
Got them home from Fort Dix in time for Christmas

When I crack the #3 line the rpm does not drop as with the other 5 lines---did not look for the rings at that time--is the injector difficult to remove--thanks
