40 is a good deal, you should grab that up. that joint is an odd size, spicer doesnt make the exact one. my spicer dealer said the only way to get the exact fitting joint was to go throug rockwell meritor and it was like $150 or somthing close to that for it . yikes!!
i gotta go see who i have. mine is like $68 a year or somthing. i dont know the specifics really cause i dont deal with it, my dad does. when i got my truck i was to young for antique insurance so i had everything done in his name and instead of me paying the insurance he just pays it once a...
i cant remember off the top of my head what company i use, but they wanted me to store mine indoors also. my building is big enough but my door isnt. i just sent them a pic of my shop and said thats where it sleeps. they never came out to check the door width
na, i didnt measure that. his ideas on it were maybe having the fuel tank and batteries on the same side but i cant the maybe 500lbs of them doing that to the truck
ya, its illegal to have blocks up front here in jersey, but he is selling them to people telling them they are offroad trucks only. im guessing people are getting away with it due to historical registrations and not having to go through inspection. i dont understand the block law anyway. not...

my truck has developed a problem over the last 2 days. i have to floor the accelerator to start the truck. it doesnt matter if its cold or at operating temp, it needs to be held all the way to the floor and it takes quite a few turns to start. any ideas before i go tearing into the truck?? my...
i had this problem when i hooked up all the linkages after i did my clutch. there is a bolt and lock nut in the linkage, i cant remember exactly where, but if you tighten it all the way it will keep the pedal down like yours is doing. loosen it a little and it should work.
RE: tire tools

RE: tire tools
i tried the angle iron trick today, it is a heck of a good idea!!! one addition i did was i used a smaller 2x2 peice of angle, i think it was 3/16" for the initial hit. the thick stuff i had wouldnt go under the ring until it had somewhat of a gap to fit into.
heres a question...

i am rubbing the bolt on the leaf spring clamps in the rear end of my truck. my rod ends are dry rotted pretty good. i can see my rears being shifted when i park my truck during even a small turn.
i got my button to go together, it turns out that the hole in the steering wheel where everything sits was misshaped. i sanded down the horn button some to make it fit and it twisted in like it should. the problem now is the darn thing likes to just start goin off all by itself. i may try and...
