RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: M series cup holder
i found out also that if you use the strainer from the fuel tank and gut the screen out of it and chop it off at the right spot it makes a nice cup holder that will hold 20oz soda bottles and larger cups
i got a new horn button kit and i cant figure out how it goes on. where im running into trouble is the actual plastic button. i know how all goes together but i cant figure out how to get the button in. i dont know how to get the tabs on the plate to work with the fingers on the horn button.
RE: Re: RE: Zipperless front axle boot installation
in the near future there will be colored boots available. i had the opurtunity to check out a set of solid yellow boots given to randy ouverson when we were at mudfest. i dont think i would want colored boots for my army truck though. maybe...
RE: Re: RE: Zipperless front axle boot installation
you really should run some kind of boot and grease in your knuckle. you are destroying your seal retainer, your spindle face, and the bushing that the outer axle rides on in the spindle tube by not having lubrication in the knuckle. bearings...
tractor supply sells kubota orange enamel paint for like $25 a gallon. it dries fast, you dont have to clear coat it and its cheap enough that you can keep the fleet lookin nice by simply repainting your trucks once a year.
that truck was pretty wretched lookin up close but they sure seemed to have fun with it all weekend. the floridians prolly chopped it up for rears after mudfest.
lift the truck by the frame and support the truck by the frame and then unbolt the front or rear spring bolts and droop the axle out of your way. with a floor jack and a helper it should go back together very easily. this would prolly be easier than unbolting the u bolts.
my clutch let out very high. one day it exploded. the pads didnt look all that bad and the flywheel and pressure plate didnt look chewed up to the naked eye.surprisingly my new clutch looked to have about just as much material on the pads as the old one. the new clutch lets out very close to the...
you could un hook the main line to the primary filter and turn on the intank pump and squirt it into a bucket. the line between the primary filter and the injection pump comes off pretty easy. as for the rest of it, i would run it and see what happens. if you insist you could pull all injectors...
whats the deal with these things?? i see them on GL alot. are they safe to be around or should they just be chopped up for scrap?? the ones i have seen dont say anything about selling for residue or require mutilation. how would you go about doing away with the radiaton??
if you try this remove your tailgate. i left mine hanging all the ay down and backed into a dock and bent it up real bad. another time i wasunloading a suzuki samurai out of my truck withthe gate chained and it bent the hooks to strait. i'd imagine a forklift would do the same
