im kind of surprised that all the trucks didnt come stock with the fording kits and a winch. if i was designing a combat vehicle i would have added that stuff for a "just incase" situation. i know one thing, there has been plenty of times i have had my truck out and not planned on using the...
does anyone know why these are so hard to come by? i remember seeing one on ebay like 4 years ago for $400 or somthing in the crate. it was the last one i ever seen. i wish i had the money to buy it.
Re: RE: Re: RE: So How About Heim Ends?
i agree, my friends jeep was fitted with a 4 link and 2.5 ton axles, the suspension was a four link set up. the truck was beat to death by multiple driver every weekend until it was too cold to wheel. that went on for 3 years like that. the truck ended up...
monster trucks use 1"x1.25" joints. regular strenght in that size is good for 43,555 lbs they prolly would hold up nicely. you can look on the poly performance website at different typs of heims and they give strenght numbers also

the slobber tube goes through the fender. you have to cut a hole in it near the exhaust. my truck had a kit on it but it got pirated off before i bought it
Re: RE: Re: RE: 52” Michelins
my big truck is like that. you can crank the wheel all the way and spin donuts in the mud with no hands. full hydraulic usually has no return to center valve made into it. it makes steering almost effortless though, i like it
its called being competitve. if someone can do somthing for less and it is a superior product than more power to them. if someone is selling the same product you sell but its cheaper and a peice of junk compared to yours everyone who would be in the market for that product would know about it...
RE: Re: RE: Re: slightly sticking brakes
well, i tried the trick with the vent line, i even took the MC cap off and blew air through it and made sure it was free of obstruction and tried again with out the vent line. same deal. i had a friend over today and i would get the brakes to lock up in...
napa can get you GL1 i tried all over and couldnt easily come up with anything. then someone came over my place to work on a truck and had a whole case of regular GL1 oil from napa.
has anyone notices any damage to non metal lines on their trucks due to the new diesel?? the new ULSd diesel is tearing my ford apart. it leaks out of the tanks and lines and prolly the water separator by now
i have tires up front that were almost new when i got them and were not recaps. they dont have any dry rot and look good except for being low on tread now. i have been running 70 psi for about 3 years in them now. one thing to note though is the higher psi reduces the contact patch of the tire...
RE: Re: RE: Deuce Millage?
im not sure of the numbers but i know i got alot better mileage when i installed locking hubs and the addition of air to the tires. i run 70 psi up front and it helps alot. alos makes it nicer to steer.
they modded the trailer by chopping off the gooseneck at the uprights and basically sticking it on top of the uprights. this lifted the height of the tounge whatever the measurement of the i beams were. it would prolly have then been too tall to use with a pickup. i would think in order to make...
