I will also say, that if you're WINTER camping. An S250 is what you want. These have thick insulation and most don't even need a heater as the body warmth is usually enough to keep the inside decently warm.
If you're SUMMER camping.. I think a better option would be a topper with a custom...
M1101 and shelter is a tried/true combination.
M101 is a viable option as well, albeit heavier. It was designed to pull behind the M715. The A2 has the same lug/wheel pattern as the CUCV, and the A3 was designed to tow behind HMMWV so it has completely different setup. It's steel instead...
You fail.
That's just a water heater, not an air/water heater.. :p
They do make heat exchangers for them, though.. So you could just add what amounts to a radiator and a fan to it.
I only saw the knockoff air/water heaters for a very short time, and they were ~$300. That video was from 3 years ago, which is around the time I was seeing a couple.
Would be a good option for in-floor heating, IMO.
I'm not a fan of marquee. Not flat enough, IMO.
In one of these threads somewhere, I bought 3 tiny jars of the 3 types of Behr paint, all were supposed to be ultra flat. Only the plain jane paint looked flat, the Ultra(?) and the marquee both had a sheen that didn't really go away.
EDIT...
Hey Wes, I hate to bring back a thread this old, but I'm not seeing anything else on this... Not on here and not on your YT channel either. Did you go a different route? How did the propane work out for you?
I fired up my M1010 heater in 20* weather. In about 10 minutes I was sweating. When they say it's rated for arctic conditions, they're not kidding. The amount of heat it put out, even on low, was too much.. The noise/amp draw was only a secondary reason for wanting to ditch it..
Make sure everything is fused.
The ignition switch is just that, a switch. A relay is just a switch operated by another, lower current switch.
Bat 1 goes to IGN 1
Bat 2 goes to ACC
Bat 3 goes to IGN 3
It's a very simple diagram, and, again, if you can't understand how to wire it, with a...
I'm really not trying to be a d%&k, but if you don't know how to wire it with the diagram I supplied, you shouldn't be messing with high current wires. You miswire a cigarette lighter or a voltmeter and you let the magic smoke out. You miswire the ignition and you could end up with a pile of...
So, to clarify...
One could - theoretically - bolt up a 1000 series Allisson auto, with an adapter plate and a custom flywheel?
So, we're looking at, what, 2K$?
I guess that begs the question... WHICH allison trans?
EDIT: Looks like the Allison TX200-6 ...
So, what other Allison trannys can be bolted up with that adapter?
934 box weighs a lot and because the sides fold down and up to become the floor and roof, mounting items to make best use of the space is near impossible. If you design it to operate when opened, it sucks when closed. If you design it to operate when closed, it's a waste of space when opened...
I didn't want to start a new thread so I guess I'll post a related question here....
Most of these trans mods are talking about are paired with an engine change.
What about the stock LDT?
IIRC, isn't one of the biggest issues with the LDT is that there's nothing that bolts up, and adapters...
