    Try to weld in or patch over

    X2 I use clear plastic wrap (from the kitchen drawer) outline the problem area and cut my fill pieces. Tack weld, flair it in, sand it out.

    I got stopped in 2019 for no plate. Once I showed the state statue, my plate, proof of insurance and registration, all was well. A copy of the state statue helped minimizing any confusion for the seasoned LEO.

    We have used silicone spray in most of our diesel engine to start when needed without harm. Either on the other hand can be explosive when introduced to heated glow plugs and will cause catastrophic damage.

    Silicone Spray... Will not explode, will start and you can run an engine for long periods if need be.

    I was embarrassed by a friend who was bragging about no oil leaks from his 46' when he came over to my place after having some work done.

    Replaced the valve cover gasket and crappy oil lines too. Next is the fuel line from the pump to the carb, then the PVC valve tubing.
