They do shake a lot! It sucks when your OCD wants there to be no rattles & you have it on a trailer, haha.
Slightly off topic, but with the vibrations, make sure no wires have found their way to rub on edges of metal. I caught one on mine before it rubbed through the insulation.
I just got mine going a few months ago & I did a lot of troubleshooting like you have. Annoying but at the same time, you learn a lot about the function of the machine. I still have some minor kinks to work out but it runs like a champ now. I posted some videos on the unit while I was...
Here's the post with the direct link. Use the dimensions of the generator that are in the TM. That's what I did & it worked out well!

Tarp is great! It fits a little lop-sides for me because of the power cables coming out. I may re-route them to come out the bottom so that way the tarp sits square & tight.
I added the clip straps on the bottom. Worked out great because they are just long enough to wrap around the rail on...
Well, pumps came in today. Seems quality. I don't have time to work on an install it right now as I have my Kubota tractor ripped apart doing a new fuel system. Once I can get to it, I will post results.
So, I got an e-mail today from Summit Racing saying that the order for the ATX-E1074 pumps was canceled due to not being available anymore.
DieselAddict on another post found that it was replaced by Carter, since they purchased the other company, by part number P74016 & it's also available at...
Thanks for the information. I just got notice of my canceled order as well. Going to get ahold of them & have them change the order to the part number you mentioned.
I didn't know you could jumper them... interesting idea. Maybe that's what I'd have to do. I kind of forgot that it's a dual inverter setup... maybe the surge is above what one half can handle but it's not enough to trigger an overload.
I still thought this would run them no problem as it's...
10 gauge all the way. I'm not sure if the meter I have is fast but it does have a clamp on ammeter that I could put around the Romex to watch for amperage spike. Also could put the pins in the plug when it's starting.
I though about this too. I had a 25ft cable going into the main breaker...
I'm out at my off grid place this weekend with the generator. Haven't put a lot of time on it since the weather is nice... Just to charge betteries & run the kitchen. Ran the heat a bit the first morning.
Yesterday afternoon, I was just messing around with different combinations of stuff to see...
I was going to recommend these & warn of tipping as well. If you're looking for something to just move around your yard & take short trips with. Harbor Freight Tools always has 20% off coupons. Even at it's new cost, it would work well. Harbor Freight Tools also sells a hand trailer dolly thing...
I saw that. The cap I have is new. I have no idea why but it just wouldn't seal. Hopefully the plug does the trick. Not as convenient as a regular cap but it is what it is!
Tinkered a bit today. Taking the trailer to have an adjustable channel put up front so the trailer can ride level.
Replaced the constantly leaking cap on the coolant overflow with a plug.
Found a sturdy place for some extra oil, coolant, & rags.
Found some more stuff that I need to fix today. :/
Auxiliary fuel pump is no good. Tested as the TM says too. Nothing. Checked the float switch, pump switch & relay... good to go.
Found the connector loose for the low fuel shut off. Pushed it together & got a low fuel light! Put some fuel in &...
